My Fiance is leaving out of state for a yr rite after two weeks when our first child should be born, I wanna get him something nice to remind him about his daughter but I don't know what because he is in the military & I have gave him about everything. I was thinking something personalized but I don't know because I have gave him some personalized dog tags not so long ago. Need help!!!

What can I do next?

Wedding vows.

Seriously. He's leaving for a year and you're not married? Wrong-o, sister. Marry that man. Your gift can be his wedding band.

Yes about getting married, this will help you so much while he is gone. IF something should happen, they might not contact you first, so that needs to change, AND that way you are receiving FULL benefits too that you should. Medical for both you and baby is important, and everything else in between.
Very important.

As for a gift, my husband was deployed while I was pregnant, and I went and got a small sized photo book and put in sonogram photos of the baby.
And also some of myself and other things etc.

My big present that he LOVED was a very small recordable device, (they have some in key chain size) that you can record you and baby talking into and tell him that you love him etc, and get the baby cooing on it. My husband absolutely loved this gift, he said he listened to it every day, and he still has it to this day.

There are ones that are similar, but that are video. Record you and the baby snuggling on it or something like that.

I hope that this year goes smoothly, and safely for you both, best wishes!

How about putting the sonogram in a laminated plastic (the kind you wear
an I.D. around your neck).

Then when the baby is born send him a picture of his newborn dtr, again
in the plastic sheath.

You could, also, send a picture of you & the baby. Write something encouraging on the back like ("We will miss you. Stay safe. Love.")

I agree with Christy Lee marry him give him a wedding ring to remind him. You don't want to be told they can give you any information about him since you are not his wife.
