Sleep (lots). Circulation (excercise). Exfoliation (St Ive's or target Apricot face scrub). Drink water. Cut soda and sugar (sugar ages skin big time). Take Vitamin E and/or fish oil supplements.
The Olay regenerist line is as good as expensive brands for serious moisturizing, but if you want t go higher end, the top two rated creams this year are:
Day Cream: Hydro Peptide SPF 30 Anti Wrinkle Skin Enhancing UV Protection.
Night Cream: Vichy Lift Action Retinol HA Night.

Two words: Sunscreen and moisturizer!!!!! Any moisturizer will work, but my favorite is Olay. My mom is a retired cosmetologist, and she started hounding me to moisturize at age 18 (I'm about to turn 33 now and have hardly any wrinkles--thanks MOM!). Especially if you get any amount of sun. Sunscreen: minimum 40 SPF. Make it easy on yourself and buy makeup that contains sunscreen, and you'll have one less step in the morning!

Do you like to tan? This is the MAIN reason people wrinkle prematurely. Really the main reason that we wrinkle at all. Never go out in the sun without at least a 30 spf and wear a hat whenever you can.

Retin-A is the gold standard for wrinkle treatment. No other cream can come close as it is the only PROVEN wrinkle fighter out there. If you can get a doctor to prescribe this for you that would be your best bet. You can get it OTC as retinol. TOC is a brand that comes highly rec.

I second the sunscreen. It prevents so then you don't have to try to deal with it.
It will keep your skin from getting worse. I wear it every day - winter, summer, rain & sun.

I didn't like Mary Kay. It was complicated and my face didn't feel better afterwards. Besides, they will just pressure you to get the full routine kit and you don't really need it.

I love paula's choice line. (she's the cosmetics cop & spent her career analyzing makeup and reporting about it). Her line is 1/4 as expensive, gentle on my face and effective. People are always surprised when I tell them my age.

hope that helps some and add sunscreen into your morning routine - face, neck & collar area if it's exposed.

Part of it is genetics (our skin tends to behave like our parents skin), and if they wrinkled at the same age, there's not much you can do about it.
Part of it is environment. Sun exposure, smoking (or exposure to 2nd hand smoke), etc - all are known factors in aging skin prematurely. These you can do something about. Preventing skin damage will be more effective then trying to repair damage after the fact, but a good cold cream at night can't hurt. Ponds has a nice texture, but I get tired of the scent. There are a few unscented cold creams out there.

You're growin' up! What you have sounds like just fine lines, not wrinkles. The Oil of Olay products are sold everywhere and are really good. Have been compared to many dept. store brands on some of the day time shows are work just as well for less money. The use of a good face creme at any age is good for skin care in the long run. Remember to use sunscreen on your face also and wear sunglasses to help on the squinting.

Check into the Mary Kay timewise line. You can try before you buy and all products come with a 100% money back guarantee. Also, are you staying hydrated?

I'm 32 and I swear by Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. I smear it all over my face, neck, décolletage, arms, and legs. It smells wonderful and keeps the skin supple. It's not super greasy and it absorbs right away. I do not break out with it either. You can also use it to remove make up. I purchase it from the health food store. Make sure it's not the hydrogenated kind.

I like Clinique; if you're near a store that carries it, ask the salesclerk to show you the skin care products. There are "glamor" products, too, but right now you want the skin care. Over the years my skin has gone from oily to dry (I'm a lot older than you are) and the Clinique products have always helped. They're not cheap, but a little bit goes a long way.

If you let your skin have a lot of sun exposure, you're asking for lines, so you might want to change your thinking about that.

Oh, and happy birthday!

I happily used Avon for years. Good products, great prices. I eventually decided to become a rep. If you want to try Avon products, you can do everything on-line now and get direct delivery (products shipped to your door) with no consulation, no visits, etc. Avon always has SOME special going on too to better the prices:

I use Anew products. I do add a few drops of essential oil to the face cream, as the scent isn't really "me". If you want free samples, shoot me a private message with your address and I will send you some, no questions, no obligations. : )

Good luck regardless of what you choose.
