Who's Your Internet Provider?

Currently we are using Time Warner Cable .. but have been having big issues with our internet service constantly having problems with the service cutting in and out. While they have provided good customer service and such ... our internet just stinks. My hubby does graphic design freelance and this has caused issues with his work - so we are looking to try out a new service. Can any of you recommend who you might use and are pleased with?

We're originally from Northern VA and we always had Verizon Fios ... and I suppose that we got spoiled and coming hear and hearing things like if it's 'hot' outside .. then that messes with our service?!?

Anyone want to suggest their company ?

Thanks,
S. :-D

I have used SBC (now AT&T) for years now and have moved with it twice. I have high speed DSL. I seem to go through periods of great service and then Will hit a rough patch but is usually cleared up if I just reset the modem. I use them for everything (DSL, satellite TV, and land line phone). Good luck!

we have Time Warner & in the beginning we had issues with our wi-fi. Once the kinks were worked out, we've had no issued. We also use earthlink as a backup and our emails are set up with earthlink vs twc. We also use the wi-fi on our iPhones. I am in Fl now andy iPhone is better with Internet than the resort service.

Good luck

We have AT&T service through U-Verse and have no issues with it. We recently switched everything (cable, telephone, and internet) from Time Warner to AT&T.

The "hot outside" issue is weird, I have never heard of heat playing an issues on my internet connection and I have lived in TX all of my life. I suppose it could be true, but it seems like a stretch.
