What's the part above the hip to the right of the belly button called (not in the back)?
To the right of the abdomen but not in the back.

While oblique is more of a fitness term for this, the correct anatomical name for the area between the ribcage and the pelvis is loin or lumbus.

I can see the link just fine. I know little to nothing about anatomy. But if you google "surface anatomy of the abdomen", you get several pictures. It looks like this is called the right lumbar. I associated lumbar with the back, but going back to my friend google, you can search for "right lumbar of the abdomen" and get info. Apparently this is where your liver, gall bladder and ascending and descending colons are located.

K., click on the link you provided and see if it takes you to the site you're expecting. When I click on it, it goes to MP's list of questions from the archives, so I can't see what you're talking about.

That has happened before when I've tried to see a link someone includes. I wonder if MP is blocking it...

Depends a little on how you're referring to it. Like if you are having pain there and your dr asks where you would want to tell them lower right quadrant, you could even specify outer lower right quadrant.

If you're referring to the muscle there it's the external oblique.

What are you looking for exactly? The name of the muscle or just what the general area is called. It'd be the right flank if I'm describing it to someone in the medical field. It'd be a love handle if I'm talking to my friend.
