I am looking for full time daycare for a 19 month old. I thought I was going to stay home with my child but it looks like I will be starting work the first of September. I am looking for a daycare that provides a wonderful atmosphere and teaches some sort of curriculum and around $200.00 per week. I have had looked into Cornerstone and Kids R Kids in Allen. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

I am a Registered in Home Daycare. I have an opening now and the age of your child would fit real well. My youngest is 17 months and my oldest is 2 1/2 years old. There is a Primrose in Allen, which is owned by the same people as the ones in McKinney (where my daughter goes). I don't know if the tuition is in your price range though. Unfortunately, if you want the curriculum and the good atmosphere, etc., the price goes up.
My friend takes her child to the Peanut Gallery in Allen. She likes it, but I don't know about their curriculum.
I've also heard that Kindercare off of McDermott and Alma is good. The price may be right, but again, the curriculum may not be.
Creme de la Creme is probably the best as far as daycares go. But it's probably also the most expensive place in the area.
I have only heard good things about Primrose Schools, I believe there are 2 in Allen, I have a friend that attends Primrose School of Forest Creek and she has been there for a while and can not be happier.
