Does anybody know of a good divorce attorney (man or woman)? I just learned that my husband is cheating on me and we have decided to divorce. This is devastating news to me...something I never saw coming. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

L.,
So sorry to hear about your situation. Divorce can be a very trying terrible time in your life. I used to work for Roy Sabuco and he is a wonderful divorce attorney. His office is located in JOliet on Infantry Drive. ###-###-#### is his phone number. His secretary's name is Sandy. Good Luck to you...I wish you nothing but the best.

So sorry. It has got to be devastating! I will personal message a name to you. Please consider counseling and make sure you are "responding" and not just "reacting" to this terrible blow to your marriage by ending it. You may be able to work things out even though it looks bleak now. I can't imagine your pain you are going through. Very sad.

Hi,

Ive visited the Lawyer that Ellen P probably is going to refer you to, last week. I am going today to pay him. He appears smart and understands very difficult situations. He will consult you for free. I do have to agree with Ellen though, do give yourself some time to make sure this is something that you can't get over. Ellen, thank you for your reference.

I know it's been awhile since you've posted this, but I just read it. I don't have an attorney to refer. But I wanted to tell you that about a year and a half ago when my daughter was 5 months old and my son was 5years old, I was in simular situation, but I don't know for sure if my husband cheated. He had a profile on a single's web site with a picture(because he wasn't getting any response's with out one) and someone stumbled across it and forwarded it to his ex wife(it was someone she knew and knew he had remarried) well she got a profile and got on there and acted like she was someone interested. This went on for about a week before she revealed who she was and printed up every conversation they had. And she gladly gave me everything. Well, I asked him to leave. I had ALOT of thinking to do...he has 4 kids(my step children) with his exwife and everything I've seen these kids go through (mentally and emotionally) and are still going through (it's been 5 year's that they've been divorced now)I couldn't bear to put my 2 kids through that. So after 2 wks. and ALOT of in depth discussion's about guideline's, rule's and counseling I decided to not give up on my marriage just yet. Things are not perfect there has been alot of damage and alot of trust issue's. I'm the one who's having alot to deal with mentally and emotionally and I hope that in the end things will be like they should again (whatever that is). But I know that my kids are happy and that's what is important to me. I'm sure you've already made your decision, but if not I hope this helps and if you ever want to talk, vent or just babble you can send me a personal message. It's always nice to talk with someone who has been there or is there. Good Luck to you. And take care of those little one's. They don't have any say or control over these life changing decision's. I just wanted to add, I didn't see it coming either, he didn't change anything, he didn't stop telling me how much he loved me or how beautiful I was. He didn't stop being intimate with me, nothing changed.
