i love my stylist - Stephen Adair at the new Pompeo salon in the Hotel Palomar on Mockingbird/Central close to Lakewood. He will do color and cut and is very fun and talented. Try Heather Renee Longyear. She left the Aveda salon that's on Abrams at Lakewood Blvd to go out on her own, and now she has a space at the Lakewood Salons next to Steinmart at Mock/Abrams. She doesn't work every day, but I think she does a really good job. Her number is ###-###-####.

Oh C., you will LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my girl. I color my hair so I actually use one for color and one for cut. Her name is Jodi and she is at Craze Hair Studio. The number is ###-###-####.

What I like about Jodi is that she is great for sticking with the cut you currently have, but she is also fantastic if you walk in and say "I want something different, just do something". I have gone there for 5 years and have never left disappointed.

Michael Amonett @ his salon Alchemy. I have gone to him since the 90's & he is amazing. I have super-short hair that I get compliments on ALL the time, but he has cut my hair when it was long,too. He cuts my husband's , my mom, and even my sassy grandmother's hair when she was living. My best friend (who has beautiful hair below her shoulders)and her husband both go to him as well. The friend who referred him to me has naturally curly hair, s you can see, he can do it all! He is in the Bishop Arts District next to Hunky's Hamburgers- a super fun neighborhood, so schedule some time to shop & have lunch. The stylists at Rocket Science Salon in the Wells Fargo Building are awesome! Leeann, the owner, is amazing. She only hires the best, so you could go with anyone here and get really nice results. I love this place. Also, it's comfortable.

I highly recommend my stylist, Conni Adams. She's been doing hair for 18 yrs. She also used to teach color for Loreal for 6 yrs. She's excellent and you don't have to worry about her ruining your hair or giving you a bad cut. She takes a lot of pride in her work and she's reasonable in her rates.
