I have very fine, straight and soft hair and I'm trying to find a stylist that is reasonably priced that knows how to cut my fine hair in a short current style. With my hair being fine and straight and with Dallas having such humidity at times; it makes it hard to know which style would work the best for my hair. I need a stylist who has the talent and skill to find that style.
If you have similiar hair and have a good stylist please let me know.

I have fine straight hair that I keep short. With the wrong hairstylist, it can look like a boy's cut. But I've been going to Brian at Toni and Guy at Vista Ridge Mall. He does a GREAT job on my hair! He's very meticulous and takes his time to get it just right
My hairs is also very, very straight and fine. I have used Lisa since 2005. She gives me a style that gives my hair shape so I don't have to do much to it. (Actually, I usually don't even blow dry my hair, just brush it.) It has always looked great. It is $50 for a cut and style last time I went--totally worth it for me. I don't get it cut too often as I'm growing it out, but When I donated my hair, she chopped it for me and I loved her short cuts too. She will talk with you about what you want, do it, then you can tell her if you like it or not. I have gotten 2 whole different cuts fom her before b/c I didn't like the first one! I also have very fine, straight hair! Recently, I cut my long hair short and I love it! I have that all-too-popular stacked in the back as it angles toward the front hairstyle. I love it. I actually want it shorter. It seems to work well with my fine straight hair. I really like my hair stylist. She works out of Main Street Salons in Lewisville (Steinmart shopping plaza). I love Splurge Salon in the Shops of Highland Village. They are all specialists - so the person who colors is not the person who cuts your hair. I love my stylist and she is not expensive either! Her name is Velva, and she is at MasterCuts at the Grapevine Mills Mall. She is very good, she cuts my hair which is straight and thick, but fine; she cuts my son's hair which is fine and curly (like Corbin from HS Musical) and also my sister-n-law's hair which is VERY fine and straight. She texturizes your hair a special way that makes it more full. Becca also has fine straight hair as well so she knows our plight. If you do go to her, tell her Jennifer Ellis sent you.
