~My hubby wants to find is bio father's family ~

His mother and father split when he was a young child, He knows of a half brother out there. He does know the father and grandfather has past on. He did see the family at one point in his life about 15 years ago. He had a lot of pressure from his mom ,to not to see that family, but he wanted to. He remembers an uncle who took time off work to come see him and took him to do things. this was when he was middle school-freshman year in school.
The family's last name is Roberson from the Dallas TX area. I have looked on facebook, myspace, white pages. no luck so far. thought I would share with my peeps on here, to see if you guys could help me, help him. :*)

What can I do next?

It would be worth it to try The Locator. Your husband's story is the kind they broadcast on the show and he might qualify or find some information to help him.

I was able to find my husbands bio family through ancestry.com. I signed up for the free 2 weeks and got lucky. Although it was my 5th attempt at trying to find them. His aunt had actually posted a long post with tons of family names and birthdays. She only vaguly knew of my husband so when I contacted her she was elated.
You need as much info as possible from hubby or his mother if she is willing to at least help. My MIL wasn't happy about us looking, but she was able to provide names and dates that we would never have known about.
Also word of warning if you're going to dig this up be prepared for what you find out. Some of it may not be pleasant. My husband ended up shutting down and shutting me out for a while after everything I had found out. Although he had never had contact with anyone from his bio dads family so everything was a mystery.
Good luck to you.

a private detective might be able to find him fairly easily, with the resources they have. Especially if you have name, family member's names and birthday and/or social security number. I think those things would be on your husband's birth certificate.

The mormons are really good at tracing geneology. Maybe they can help you if you have specific names.
