Hello all,

Christmas is here & I'm trying to get my shopping done asap. My 2.5 yr old son is into alot of toys, but I've noticed that he and a couple of other little boys in our playgroup gravitate towards dolls. Gone are the days of Teddy Ruxpin & My Buddy, so I'm not sure what boy doll to get him for Christmas. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd appreciate them!

Be blessed and Merry (early) Christmas!
=)

So What Happened?

Thanks so much everyone for all your wonderful ideas! I really appreciate them. My son wanted a Diego doll and we were settled on that until he started asking for Scooby Doo. Now I'm on a quest to find a Scooby Doo doll! Agh! Does it ever end? It's fun though and its worth it. =)

Thanks again and Be Blessed,

~Chel

Baby Alive has a boy doll version. Apparently he has ALL the parts and pees like a real baby....I saw an add on the doll. He was around $99.00.

First of all, I have to say GREAT for you and your husband for allowing your son to have his own baby doll! My husband and his entire family freaked out when I brought up the possibility of buying a doll for my son for Christmas. Doesn't matter, I'm gonna do it anyway. :o)

There are really cute boy dolls at American Girl. The boys don't come separately though. You'd have to get a set of twins (could get both boys). http://store.americangirl.com/agshop/static/bittytwins.js... My son wants the boy with the almond eyes. He would name him Pete after his best friend at school.

Merry Christmas to you!

I got my girls ( 7YO and 7mo) the kushie's acrobat dolls , they're absolutely cute, gender neutral and educational. they both love it even I have played with them. I ordered them from toysrus. here's the link if you want to see them:

little mommy also has a boy doll and he is dressed all in blue with a fishing hat. it's interactive too.
Good luck and let us know what you find, I'm always looking for gender neutral toys,

I second the Cabela's camo doll. My son has one. We also got him a GI Joe. We just took away all the small pieces.

Does he like Diego yet? There are several hard faced/soft body Diego dolls out there...my boys each have one and have enjoyed them
