I really want to take my kids to see a movie, but I cannot afford the prices. I heard that tehre is some movie theaters offering tickets at less than $3, but I can't find anything on line. Can you help me?
No, it's not Tamarac Square, it's Tiffany Plaza, just across the street on the south side of Hampden at Tamarac Drive. $1 movies, after they have had their first run. Tamarac Square is full price, but they do offer one cheap movie a month for moms and little kids - where noise is expected!

I know of a theater that I believe is $2.50 for tickets. It recently underwent a name change, I think its called an Elvis theater (?) Its located on Hampden Ave. and Tamarac. I think there are a few others around, but not sure where those are. Hope this helps!
Melissa, I'm not sure what area you live in, but if you go to Yahoo and search for "Elvis theater", these are the $2.50 theaters. They're great and they show pretty recent movies..
Elvis Cinema's has older movies for $2.50 during he day and $3.50 in the evening. They have 3 different locations, we always go to the littleton one. Here is the web site:

There is one on Hampden next to the Whole Foods. Not sure of the name.
I don't know where u live but here in Aurora Colorado we have a place called Cinema Grill. U watch a movie n get served food. My mother in law n I take the kids there alot and it's cheap for the matinees. Night time movies r not too bad either. C if u have something like that. There is another movie place like that but more expensive tho. Hope this helps
The one several people have mentioned below is called Tamarac Square, on Hampden.
If you are in the Denver area, there are several 'Elvis Theaters' which I think are $2.50 or $3 for matiness. They are slightly older movies. I have never looked online, they may not be there. They are in the paper, though. I think even their snacks are a little cheaper.
