I'm looking for a movie theatre that has matinees for mothers and babies. I've heard that they exist but am not sure where.

The Denver Film Society at the Starz Filmcenter has a Kids Saturday Nickelodeon, presented by: The Kids First
They claim they show kids frindly flicks every saturday at 10:30 Admission is just 5 cents :-D
Perhaps it's a start, look them up and see if it would be worth while.
I am 45yrs old and a grandmother of a 2yr. old and been considering doing the same.

There is a new theater in Thornton at 100th and Grant that has 'scream tuesdays" The first showing of all their movies is for parents of children under 6. Not kid movies, just a more noise tolerant atmosphere. I think the website is www.cinebarre.com. I haven't been yet, but it sounds great
Yes...the Highlands Ranch 24 has a Wednesday 10:00 movie. I checked this week, though, and they weren't running one. I'm wondering if they have stopped now that school has begun or something...they are definitely worth the call.

Harkins Theater in Northfield has a great summer program. 10 movies, one per week for $5. Since my kids are back in school, I have not looked into a winter program.
The theater at Cherry Creek Mall had a program for the summer, I am not sure if it is still going on. Check out this link:

There used to be one at the theater in Tamarac Square, but that was a few years ago so I am not sure if they are still doing it or not, it was fun! Maybe call them, I think it is a Regency Theater. Good luck!
