BBQ Chicken Leftovers?

I made BBQ chicken wraps for dinner a couple of nights ago, but I made too much chicken. We have already had the wraps 2 days in a row. The chicken already has BBQ sauce on it and I am trying to figure out what to make so we don't waste it. Any yummy ideas?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks! A salad was too close to the wrap for my husband, and the pizza takes too long for a lunch, so we went with the quesadilla!

You can freeze it and have it later.

Another things we do with leftover BBQ chicken is BBQ Chicken Pizza.

Chop or shred the chicken. Spread over pizza dough that has been partially baked already (or use Boboli's). If there is not enough BBQ sauce on the chicken and you want more, spread some on the dough. Add shredded cheese and bake. My kids love this!

Instead of making something right now with it - what about freezing it for next time you're hungry for some BBQ chicken?

I like the ideas for BBQ chicken pizza, BBQ chicken salad and mac and cheese with shredded BBQ chicken.

The one thing I haven't read so far is BBQ chicken chili. I've won several chili cookoffs with my smoked chicken chili.

Good luck to you and yours.

You can make sandwiches. You can get that sub bread for the store and make sub sandwishes out of it. Or you could make a salad and use it.

Make BBQ chicken quesadillas. Yum.
Or put it on a big green salad for BBQ chicken salad (like a chef salad only with chicken instead of turkey/ham).

bbq chicken salad. just use it like you would regular cooked chicken - add mayo, chopped onions, celery, etc.

if you have enough - bbq chicken sandwhich

cut it up and put on top of salad greens, with sliced tomaote, hard boiled eggs, shredded cheese to make a bbq chicken dinner salad

make soup

the bbq pizza sounds good but also a bbq chicken salad is great. they have one at famous daves that we love. lettuce, tomatoes, bbq chicken, some cheddar cheese and scallions. they put a honey french dressing drizzled over it. yummmm

How about chicken soup. You can rinse the BBQ sauce off if you want but I suggest that BBQ chicken soup would be a good flavor. Taste the soup and add herbs for a different flavor.
