It looks like you have gotten some numbers to try. My mom goes to a woman, her name is Monica, she rents a chair in a shop near Fox Valley Mall. She does a VERY nice job cutting and styling hair, both relaxed and natural. I can get her number, just message me if you're interested. Call the JC Pennys hair salon at the Fox Vally mall in Aurora and ask for Tricie Riley. She is absolutely without a doubt the best there is. She was just promoted to master stylist. I can't say enough good things about her. Good luck!

Welcome to the area. I agree with another reply regarding Mena's in Bolingbrook. My favorite stylist's name is Mary. No appt are necessary and the prices are so reasonable. My sister drives from Chicago just to get her hair done by Mary. Also, this is not an African American Salon. I believe they are Egyptian. I must say, for me not to have a relaxer I always leave looking as if I got one and it lasts.
