I recently decided to reaquaint myself with my treadmill. I have found that good music = good workout. My problem is that even though I have a workout song playlist on my iphone, after 2 or 3 days, I get sick of the songs on there. So, I'm needing some new song ideas. What do y'all listen to in order to "get pumped up"??

Yay!! I love a good treadmill run:)
Go to Rockmyrun.com. They put together these incredible mixes of songs and they time it to meet different runs - so if you are doing a quick 45 or a full 2 hour, they have a mix for that!
It is FREE, but you earn credits each week and you can earn more by posting to facebook or pinning it, etc. but the two credits each week just by being a member (free, just sign up member) keeps you in a new mix every other week.
It will seriously change your work out life!!

Download the Pandora app (it's free), and then choose "Pop and Hip Hop Power Workout." I listen to that station when I do my power walks, and it's great. If they ever play anything you hate, you can give it a "thumbs down" and it will never play that song for you again. If you give it a "thumbs up," it will put that song into rotation more frequently for you. I love Pandora. Every now and then, it does play an advertisement, but it's maybe once every 30 minutes or so, and it's just one ad that lasts 15 seconds or so.

I find the music to be an additional stress to the treadmill-so I just watch "Food Network" while I'm on the treadmill

Pumped Up Kicks! When I was good about working out in the gym in our building, one of the guys in our bldg always brings the tunes and plays them for everyone. This one was always on regular rotation & it always got us pumped up.

I hate running and the only way I will do it is with music. And I need to know the wors so I can concentrate on "singing" than excersing. You've gotten some good suggestions, but here's a few more.

Anything by Pink and Bowling for Soup (from Denton, TX),
You shook me all night long
Calle ocho by Ptibull, or just about anything from him
Love anything 80's ;-)
Chicken Fried - Zac B. Band
It Takes Two by Rob Base

Good Luck!!

Good question, I'm going to check back to get some more ideas! I listen to:

Carma Chameleon, Culture Club (such an 80s thing!)
Boyfriend, Justin Beiber (hate to admit this, but has a good beat)
Started with a Whisper, Neon Trees
Darling it's true, Locksley (look this one up, really catchy tune)
Price Tag, Jessie Jay (I think that's her name)
Good Life (One Republic)
Forever (Chris Brown)
Black or White (Michael Jackson)
Tonight, Tonight (Hot Chelle Rae)

That's just a start, I'm sure you'll get a bunch more. Good luck!
