Wireless Service?

I went to Metro PCS today because I have been doing lots of research. I needed to get a blackberry / smartphone for many many reasons. Well I have it, I love the phone but the service sucks and I'm very dissappointed. I'm thinking of going to a different wireless carrier but not sure who's the most popular. Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, or Sprint? And I also need Unlimited everything but I'm not willing to pay more than $100 a month for my cell phone service. Any recommendations??

What can I do next?

Verizon!
They have the best service , fewer dropped calls , and a bigger service map.
We've had Verizon from Washington state -Maryland to Georgia and when we were on vacation to Florida .

My husband and I have Sprint and we like it for our smartphones. He has a blackberry and I have the Evo. We want to change phones in Oct. for upgrades but stay with Sprint. I've been a Sprint customer for over 15 years. My work phone it T-Mobile with my smartphone and it drops a lot of calls and it's expensive (My work pays for it). My work is looking to drop T-Mobile.

I have a friend from Orlando and she uses Verizon and loves them. She has the whole data plan too. Hubby and I looked into possibly changing to them and found them to be a little expensive. Up in SC where we just moved from a lot of people had At and t but signal was horrible there. My friend had to use a free texting app on her Iphone just so she could use it half the time because she could never get a signal to talk or use regular texting! She just finally broke down and switched to Verizon I think.

We use Sprint and have had them for 6+ yrs. We were just living in SC and travel to IN to see family and go camping and haven't ever really had signal problems except in where you'd expect them. There customer service can be a pain in the rear sometimes but I normally get what ever fixed with them. We don't have a date plan but we do have unlimited text/pic mail, 3 phones and 1500 min and pay a little over a hundred a month!! They do offer some nice discounts depending on who your employer is so worth checking into. I do think they offer a full data plan for about 70 a month if I've heard right. I know a lot of people we know here said to stay away from Metro because the don't work well.

Good luck and happy phone shopping!!

My husband works for Verizon business, so we have a family plan through them. Their prices are steep, but my phone works pretty much everywhere. AT&T's prices are pretty high also as far as unlimited goes. I have a friend with T-Mobile and she pays just under $100/month for unlimited everything, it's just not a smartphone so I can't say if you'd be in the same boat with a Blackberry. T-Mobile works on the same network as AT&T, but has somewhat better coverage.

I worked for AT&T and highly recommend AGAINST them because they are constantly changing things w/o much notice to customers and their coverage is sketchy.

Good luck.

You can get some great no contract phones at Walmart. My fiance used the straight talk which is thru verizon unlimited everything $45 a month and they have a smart phone version. I used the walmart family plan thru t mobile. Unlimited also $45 a month the internet works well but a little slow on both but price is great and connection is pretty good too I used to have at&t and could only talk certain place in my apartment. anyway - straight talk custmer service is really annoying - they obviously don't speak english.. but Most things can be done on PC
