so im sitting here just watching tv and my left eyelid just starts twitching.. i hate when that happens ! its always so random..why does this happen??
My docs always just chalked it up to being one of those weird pregnancy things that happens when you're tired. That said, it took until my 4th pg to realize that I was potassium-deficient so that answer makes sense to me. Eat more bananas and potatoes and see if that makes it happen less.

Mine did that and I long thought that it was stress related only to find out that sometimes it is related to sciatic nerve issues and I have been batteling that for years.

For me, it is when I am really tired. Lately, that is almost everyday--especially Friday afternoon after working all week.
That always happened to me , during my pregnancy. I'm sure it was some kind of deficiency. Someone mentioned potassium.

Mine will do that when I'm really tired so I have always associated it with that.
I have always assumed it was a calcium or potassium deficiency, but I don't know for sure. Both electrolytes are involved in regulating muscle contraction.
