You may think this is hilarious, but the bakery Le Sensual makes regular cakes. They are really tasty and affordable.
Hi. My daughter is turning two and would like some suggestions as to a yummy bakery? I just want it to be good, fresh, yummy and something under $30.
Thanks,
P.

I would second King Soopers. We have never had any problems and they have always been really good. They are also good when you are on a budget. Happy Birthday to your little one!
Child's Bakery is awesome and they'll make anything you want, but yes, the price is pricey!!! Cupcakes are a fun alternative too. I recently had a luau for my daughter and I had chocolate and blue frosting and arranged them to look like an island. I added parasols and gum balls to look like beach balls. The accessories totally made them look awesome!
I have to give credit to King Soopers bakery - their cakes are really good, and the frosting is butter cream - not that whipped kind that tastes so sugary. They're great about personalizing or creating a cake that you'd like. You can get a good sized sheet cake for about $25. Perfect for your budget.
I am a Child's bakery fan at heart, but that will not keep you within your budget if you're trying to feed a lot of people for a party.
Good luck, and happy birthday to your DD!

The Makery, corner of Holly and County Line and Elegant Bakery on Wadsworth in Littleton (or Lakewood) :-) Actually I just noticed you said under $30.00, Target makes really yummy cakes that are afordable!
Costco. Feeds 50 and is $14.99. Some of my friends will make a point to turn up at a party if they know Costco cake will be served. And they personalize.
I know it sounds so soimple, but I'm with the few others who have suggested King Soopers. Thier cakes are SO delicios! We got on for my now 5yr olds 2nd birthday, and were so surprised at how wonderful it turned out, that it is the only place we go for cakes anymore. They have many fun designs to choose from, and are very reasonably priced
When my daughter turned one I got her cake from Childs Bakery. When she graduated High School this past May, I again went to Childs. It was inexpensive, and VERY good cake! Give em a try! (They've been around Colorado for a good number of years and I have never had a problem with them or their products!)
Good luck.
The Shoppe on Colfax. Hands down. They made me baby shower, wedding, and birthday cakes!
