Where to Buy a Sectional?

Hello Moms,

we are looking into buying a contemporary sectional sofa of good quality - probably Microfiber material - without breaking the bank. Where would you go to find it? We checked Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn and those are a little too high in price. TIA

What can I do next?

D.,

I have a friend who is moving and she has one she is trying to sell. She is in Arlington and would give you a good deal. Please let me know if you're interested in taking a look and I'll give you her phone number. She is trying to get rid of pretty quickly.

Thanks!
M.

Bassett furniture has great stuff. And you can even hagel on the price, although we didn't know this when we bought our sofa! Our neighbor simply told them the price was too high and he wanted a discount and they gave him 20% off...on 3 separate occasions!

You should check out The Furniture Deal, www.thefurnituredeal.com, they don't have a big showroom, but you can order all the stuff the other furniture stores carry, but at a much lower price.

The "The Dump"...don't be put off by the name - i haven't shopped there yet - only bc furniture shopping is not in our budget at this time. Regardless, the commmercials suggest very good quality furniture for excellent prices and i know people who have bought there with great success. I would definitely check it out.

Happy shopping to you.

We recently purchased one at La Z Boy that we really like. It was like $3000 but it has recliners, etc. and it was totally worth it. You can pick the fabric you want on it and they deliver and set it up for you, etc.

If you are really set on the look of C&B or PB, you might check The Dump. We got a leather chair there that was last season PB for half price.

Cindy Crawford has come out with a new selection at Rooms To Go. I have never looked at her furniture, but it looks fairly contemporary on the commercials.

we bought our microsuede sectional at rooms to go. We were able to buy it in pieces to fit the area we have. We love it.
Happy Shopping.
