When Is Your husband/SO Super into You?

Or, put another way, when do you notice a change (for the better) in his attentiveness, affection, etc? This does not have to be just physical affection, all affection included.

*Maybe I should clarify - DH is super attracted to me and if I walk by him even partially naked he is groping me. So, typical man. I meant more along the lines of attentiveness, listening, showing more affection than usual. In other words - cannot wait to see you, be around you, etc. Most of the time my DH could care less if I accompany him to the store, or someplace like that. But if I leave for a day or so, he is up my butt!

For some women, it could be when their pregnant. That never did it for mine. Not that he didn't find me attractive ( I was all belly and had some nice cleavage I must say!) but he wasn't all about it like some men are.

Or for some of you, it could be when you are being "motherly" for your DH - cooking for him and the like. My DH loves to walk in and see me in an apron. I mean talk about sexy.

And of course, lingerie works too - but only temporarily. lol

For my guy, the way to really get him to pay attention and give me love and affection is if I leave for a while - give him a chance to really miss me. I notice a huge difference in his attentiveness and affection upon my return. I am sure this is fairly normal. I wish I didn't have to leave to get it though!

What works for you? I bet some of you have husbands that are naturally just all about you and affectionate! Lucky gals. For the rest of us, what works to get your DH to really pay attention and show he is all about you?

What can I do next?

Mimi - that is a good one! My DH is the same way.

Lee - For sure - I am with you on all of your answers. Lol

Great answers! So fun!

Angela - my DH is like yours and technology, except mine loves to explain baseball rules to me. So funny.

Blow jobs, mostly.

:D

No, seriously...my husband likes it when I'm a little sassy, give him playful comebacks and such. He also loves it when I really try to understand whatever super-geeky technology thing he's trying to explain to me. He also loves it when I french-braid my hair. He's weird about that... :)

This will sound crazy but all the wedding planning. Last night we were going over vows and he was all over me like a cheap suit! All romantic even, like the you are so beautiful look and stuff.

Maybe I should put off the wedding. :p

I think mine is pretty standard. The more I give him sex, the more he shows me love. Sad, but true. It's always the times when we've been more active that he'll be particularly affectionate with all that entails.

I don't think he's even consciously aware of it. I don't think he says, "Gee, she gave me some last night, so I'm going to hug her more today." But I think he is feeling more 'loved' so he feels like acting more loving.

Oh, and if I wear a lacy bra/undies. God forbid I put on a thong. It's over.

So yeah, he's a typical man.

(We'll see how he is about the 'pregnant woman's body' thing here in a few months... LOL)

Interesting question...

We have been together almost 14 years and I know my Man very well!

He is absolutely the cliche, the more I show him some 'wet love' (as he calls it) the more into me he is! I honestly don't think he was even aware of it in the beginning of our relationship but as the years have gone by we both have noticed, it's hard not too! He is normally pretty lovey-dovey but when he is satisfied in that department he is VERY hands-on and all about me! :)

~After I realized this it was like a light bulb went off in my head...then I felt bad for all the times I was 'not in the mood' he craves physical touch and closeness a lot more than I do and it made my heart hurt a little to know that I was depriving him of something that made him feel so much better...what's that old saying? All you need is LOVE!

When it is the absolute worst timing in the world for him to be "into me"! Like, when I am super busy and cannot pay attention to him, like when I am really late and trying to get to work on time.

I swear he does it on purpose, like a jealous 3 year old when they don't get enough attention! lol I know he is just trying to tell me he wants me to make time for him too, but, sheesh, does it always have to be when I'm already late?! If I have all the time in the world for him, he is busy or uninterested in me it seems.

My husband is pretty much always all over me, but I think he does appear to be even more into me when I'm working on some sort of domestic responsibility, like cleaning, cooking, etc. He just can't keep his hands off of me! Which sometimes translates to me being annoyed, because I'm busy. LOL!

The look in his eyes when I support him in a major decision is when I feel like he couldn't live without me. He always makes me feel like he appreciates me and loves me but the fact that I have shown confirmation that I trust him goes much further than the day to day stuff.....

My husband is into me, when I am into myself!

LOL! When I feel like a cow, and am not my most confident... it is hard to keep things spicy in our relationship. What attracted him to me in the first place was that I was rebellious and stubborn and independent... Looking back some of my confidence was "overplayed" when we were younger... and it took awhile for the confidence I expressed on the outside to actually "sink in" to my core... But when I feel good about myself it really shines through and my husband LOVES it.

I also dress and act "sexier" when I feel that way. Sometimes I dress sexier when I feel awful, to try to feel better- in reverse.

Hmmm... my husband always says that I am a sexy "mom". He thinks that it makes him more attracted to me when he sees me being a great mom. It isn't in a "weird way" - he just really admires when I can make parenting look "easy"- when he knows it isn't.

If I want to really "get him going"... I dress up really er, um ... well- "trashy" (hey- we are in the house!) right before he gets home from work... and grab a beer and relax with him... Sometimes it takes a little planning. He loves to just "hang out" with me. Right now I am super pregnant (I am due in 2 days)... so lately we resort to cookies and milk or cake. LOL! As long as it is a little "naughty.." hahaha...

My DH is naturally affectionate but even more so when I'm wearing a certain pair of jeans or shorts or his favorite heels. LOL they're my heels of course, he just loves to see me in them. I catch him checking me out and it's so funny! But it's a sure thing that when I go upstairs to bed, he turns of the fantasy baseball and follows me upstairs.

For some reason, when I'm unshowered, hair in a messy curly lopsided bun on the top of my head, wearing cut off shorts and one of his white v neck tshirts (that I practically live in), stinky, sweaty, and exhausted... he says he loves it when I'm 'a hot mess'... his words! Lucky for him, that's my general physical state, LOL!!

Like some of the others, the more lovin' he gets the more touch-feely he is. I've recently also noticed that he's very much more hands-on the week right before my period. I'm assuming it's just one of those hormonal things that neither one of us is really aware of, but since I started paying attention to it I've noticed a very definite pattern. Weird, huh?

My hubby has never been a lovey/dovey super touchy kind of guy. But I would have to say after I work out/been to the gym/gone hiking, etc. he does get handsy! I am usually in sweats/yoga pants, t-shirt, tennis shoes and hair up in a pony tail or a hat on and in desperate need of a shower!

My hubby is one that is always affectionate and wants a piece! But there are times that I can drive him bonkers..like when I tell him exactly what I want him to do to me, but make him wait a while. Or if I wear skirts. But also, there are times when we've been working hard outside for hours, all sweaty and stinky, with matted down hair and no makeup, and for some reason that turns him on. (I think because the added bonus that we shower together after :)) Oh, and once he saw me vacuuming naked, which also did the trick. :)

Since I've become a mom to his son, he can't keep his hands off me! Tells me every day how beautiful I am and what a wonderful mom I am :) One morning he came home and I was just in a tank top, pj pants, feeding the baby and he said it was the sexiest he's ever seen me. I love that! So just be yourself!
