JFF, What Makes You Feel Sexy?

i've recently started working out, and it has done wonders for my libido. i feel sexy and desirable. i think it has something to do with i know i'm changing now. that type of thing. the other times i feel sexy... when i finally shave my legs (not an every week thing. I shaved last night and if i remember right i haven't shaved since thanksgiving.), on date nights i try to look a little nicer, will take a shower early so my hair drys (i don't have a hair dryer). I also feel sexy when my fiance shows me special attention. like when i'm cooking in the kitchen and he comes up and kisses my neck, and things like that. :) but i mean honestly.. as long as i'm getting sex from my fiance i know how sexy he thinks i am, and it makes me feel even sexier.

Seeing my husband clean, cook or do laundry! (LOL think of Al Bundy watching Peg work on Labor Day.)

Seriously, on a day that my house is clean, dinner is done and my laundry is caught up--I feel FRISKY!

I think for the first year of my daughter's life I never did anything to feel sexy, I did struggle with depression and hormon inbalance so that did not help.

NOW, that I have made time at least weekly for me to feel sexy, the home is usually much happier. Some of the things I do: At least once a week shave legs even during the winter time, take a bath at least once a week with a specail bath bomb from Lush, sit down & chat with friends over wine and chocolates (happens every 2-3 months), drink a glass of wine while I cook dinner with music playing (do this a few times a week), set time aside to read, 2-3 times a year get a message (usually gifts from mom or hubby), getting a professional haircut 3 times a year and usually splurg on a mani or pedi, lastly hang out with my mom & daughter either shopping or going out to eat.

It takes me a while to get dressed because I HAVE to look pretty. it doesnt matter if no one is going to see me but my toddler. (some days my hubby leaves early in the morning and doesnt get back till late so he doesnt see me except in my pjs)....so what makes me feel sexy? my arms haha just looking at them in the mirror and flexing. I use to work out ALOT (like up to 7 hrs a day) before I had my son, but most of it was cardio and I never really had defination in my arms. now that I carry around a toddler i have definate mom guns lol

I get my hair cut at a nice, high quality salon every 4-5 months and have it styled too. I always feel on top of the world with a haircut and style and usually treat myself to lunch alone or a new outfit or something after because I feel and look great. I also go for pedicures, but only in the warm months when my toes are exposed.

I was thinking along similar lines this morning--the only time I wear makeup is for work (sometimes) and church (even more rarely) but this morning I almost put some on. I'm home and 9 months pregnant (normally work full-time) but got up this morning and TOOK A SHOWER. Normally I take one every other day at best, but it felt really nice to just stand in a hot shower while everyone else was sleeping and really feel my shampoo and conditioner working, Noxzema seeping in, and my pores opening up. I didn't shave because I'm not feeling all that athletic and I'm waiting until my pre-hospital shower for that. However, I did put on a nicer maternity top than the t-shirts I've been cleaning in lately.

I'm still thinking about the makeup, but if my husband notices he'll probably think it a little strange. I don't think he normally sees me in makeup. I feel sexy right after a haircut, though. I like to keep my hair really short but can't afford the haircuts I should be getting every 4 to 6 weeks, so it is such a treat to go and relax and have it cut off and feel clean and fresh and fun. I also feel sexy after I've worked out, but I haven't done that for a while.

Oh, and wearing really snug, but properly-fitting jeans, especially if I can throw on some nice heels and go out with my husband (again, not too often!). :)

As long as I am showered, I feel pretty sexy! My hubby is a pretty horney hands on guy...it's hard not to feel sexy!

I work outside the home so I make sure I look "good" everyday. I do get massages because I carry stress in neck and shoulders. I get nails and pedi's, waxing, and my hair done regularly. For date nights I do make some extra effort to so DH will notice....The only thing I would change is trying to wear some lingerie but it would be weird if I put it on while the kids were awake...so it never seems to be the right time LOL!

SEX makes me feel sexy!! Knowing I can turn my hubby on after all these years (and vice versa) is awesome!

I like the one response about feeling frisky when your hubby does some work around the house. DITTO! Love that. Besides that, purfume that drives him crazy has really made me feel sexy. Making sure that I do my makeup nice, spray some purfume and I could even be in some Victoria Secret lounging pants and a tank and I still feel sexy. Shaving and also slipping on a thong will do that for me as well. He loves it too.. Sleeping in a thong and a t-shirt or tank...HUGE turn on for him which in turn makes me feel sexy. Great post.

The biggest thing for me is applying purfume even if I never leave the house.
I shower, apply makeup, pretty much do my hair every day. I shave often , get my brows waxed, nair my upper lip, make sure I have clean clothes on and so forth...but for some reason a good smelling perfume makes me feel like a woman. ;)
