You can try Pump It Up which is on 460 in Roanoke. It is alot of fun. Also the Firehouse skate and play is nice too.
Roanoke in the winter is really not the best place for a young child to do things. My son is turning 3 on Feb 19th and it seems my only age appropriate choices are Chuck E Cheese or McDonalds! For his 1st & 2nd Bday we had a family party at home. This year, he seems he would enjoy something with more energy to it. Anyone have a ideas for something in Roanoke,VA????

I totally agree that there is no good place indoors to take young kids. We recently moved from Durham where there was a great indoor playground at the mall. Roanoke really needs something like that! As far as birthday parties for kids there is a place called pump it up that is supposed to be a fun place to throw a party. The website is http://www.pumpitupparty.com/roanoke.html I have never been to a party there but I have heard good things about it. Good luck!
I completely understand...my son just turned one on the 14th and we are having his birthday party this weekend at my house. There is nothing for mothers to do with there kids around here. If you find anything to do...let me know:-) My son is VERY active and loves to be outside and play with other kids his age. However, he isnt in daycare nor does he need to be..so my only option is to keep him in the house were its warm with his cousins (once and a while) or the dog which he loves very much.
There is a great place called Pump It Up, out on 460E (Orange Ave). They have inflatable slides and jumpy things. They do have play times for young children as well as planned birthday parties. They are expensive though. Hope this helps.
