For you as an adult - what was your favorite age so far, and why? Was it when you were little, or possibly now? Mine is definitely now - I am happier the older I get!

And for your kids - what was your favorite age with them, and why? I loved when mine were in that 1-2 year age range. So cute and fun and no talking!! lol What is yours and why? When did you really have the most fun? (I know, they are always fun, but we all have our favorite).

What can I do next?

I love right now at 50! My body is as good as ever, and I feel wiser and more confident than I did in my younger years.

My daughter, now 9, gets more fun every year, too!

I love where I am right now (38), but sometimes I wish I could travel in the Way-Back Machine and just spend one day being:

8 (on Halloween)
19 (on 4th of July at my parents' house on the lake, with family that has now passed on - including my parents)
22 (in vet school, at a end-of-semester party)

And I love my daughter at 3.5 right now, but sometimes I wish she could be a little baby again, perfectly content being held in my arms!

For my kids I always so "oh this is my favorite age!" and then the next age I say, "oh this is my favorite age!" In other words, I can't seem to make up my mind! There is something wonderful (and awful : \ ) about each and every age. I miss my 20 yr old figure for sure but I'm so much wiser now I definitely wouldn't trade the two!

ME...
Loved my childhood but LOVED my mid-twenties through thirties. Sure I had some hard bumps in the road, but I had ALOT of fun. Found my passion for costume and the whole world opened up for me. But the Forties are looking promising too. Great husband/best friend and two cute daughters.

KIDS..... Hmmm... I don't think I can decide. I think each age has it's perks. Infants are soooo tiny and cute and your heart just melts when they start cooing. But then they start walking around and call you Mommy for the first time. Then they are actually talking to you and you can have heart fluttering cute conversations about fairies and puppies. Then starts the school years, and you see the world as new again through their eyes as they learn about it.

Every moment has it's charm, you just need to know how to look for it.

I just turned 49 and love every minute of life. I do NOT want to go back to an age or stay where I am because life is meant to be lived!

And surprisingly, my kids are almost 21 and 16 1/2. I enjoy the teen years! My kids aren't perfect, but they are good kids with good friends. We have an open door policy and an open communication policy. My husband and I enjoy watching them grow up and even am saddened when they have to learn some life lessons. *Our 20 year old recently had to leave his grocery's behind because he was trying to use his debit card for $49 worth of groceries and only had $47 so his card wouldn't work. BROKE MY HEART! But now he knows to know exactly what his balance is!

I'm with the other mamas so far, I miss my 20 year old body (A LOT!!) but I'm smarter and quicker and more responsible today hands down. I am thinking the best is still in store for me so that would mean I haven't yet reached my favorite age!

As for the kids, these 'tween' years kind of suck so far although what they're gaining in smarts & responsiblity & really becoming who they will be as people is amazing to watch. I think I loved the 18 month stage & also right around 5-6 years old the best so far.

For me, I would say probably 20ish....I was young, in better health, impeccable shape, my mind was very clear, I could stay up all night and not be bothered and although I lived on my own, I still really had no responsibility other than going to school. This is also the year I met my husband.

As for my son, he's only 27 months, so we haven't gotten very far. But so far, I think I really enjoyed the 9 months-1 year time frame...get got really expressive and was still very much a baby, just babbles and cuddles! I love it now too because we finally are having conversations of sort....

Mentally, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually, I really enjoy the person I have become now, age 63. I feel happier and wiser now that I've had some time and experience to sort out a dysfunctional childhood and first marriage. And I've got the most amazing grandson….

As far as my body is concerned, right now is extremely difficult, because a combination of health issues and injuries have me in constant discomfort and restrict what I can do physically, keep me from sleeping, and put many foods off limits. I don't get out with people much because perfumes/toiletries, air fresheners, auto exhaust, and a million other chemicals make me too ill. I'll probably drop off the planet sometime in the next 15-20 years, and there are days when I'm in so much distress, I seriously think that can't happen soon enough.

Physically, I was at my peak in my early 30's. I was trim, athletic, energetic, loved to dance, had a physically demanding job in a woodshop that I just loved, had lots of quirky and interesting friends. My daughter and I were a fun team. Ahh, sweet memories.

I love my confidence and acceptance of myself the older I get. However, I DO miss my 20 year old body!! LOL!!

My kids are ranging in age from 2 to 12. I think I like every stage! I like the 10-12 year old range, because you see the maturity in them. My boys are still so respectful and smart(in is 10, one 12). My 12 year old is making some life discoveries and I love to see a glimpse into what he may become as a young adult.

*And, yes, I realize I will probably want to choke them at one point or another as they hit the real teen years. My girls especially?

Great question :)

I love the age I am now, 34. I am in the best shape ever after my 2 boys, we are financially in the best spot we've ever been in, and I have my husband and kids. As for the kids, I really love about 6 months-1 1/2, they are still very needy and cuddley and learning new things every day. Although, my 4 year old reminds me every day how awesome it is to be that age as well. Very tough, but I guess every age has it's good and bad points.

Fifty!!! Not that it was necessarily my best year, but 50 is a cool number. One half century. I felt like I had finally arrived and earned some respect (not that anyone gives it to me.)

I like many ages of kids for different reasons. It's all apples and oranges. Babies are wonderful, and teens crack me up.

My favorite age of mine probably early twenties- before baby boys living with my husband then my boyfriend and just living life. But now is pretty okay too just turned 40 and I didnt even cry.

My kids- I love love around 2-3 they are so fantastic My nieces and great nieces are all around this age and when they come around I just cant get enough. I have to say though my kids are 8 and 14 and there are some pretty special things about both ages watching my youngest grow and his personality take shape watching my oldest turning into a grown up all pretty special.

I love being in my 30's. I would never want to be a child again, nor a teenager, or even in my 20's. I am much more confident and sure of myself as a 30-something.

I'm about to have my 4th baby. I love newborns. They are so helpless, so adorable. But I have 3 other children at different ages and they each have their sweetness about them.

I do as well miss my pre-baby body days and, of course, my green jeep wrangler.. :( (sigh) but I do like the confidence and the more maturity I have now then before..lol

As for my kids.. I have a 6, 4, & 2 year old.. And I like them all.. It's a new phase for the older and then of course a refresher course for the other two..lmao.. Since my 6 & 4 y/o are opposite sex it's intresting to see how my daughter is diff from my son at that age.. it's always unpredictable..but totally worth it..lol

I miss my teen years! I think I might be the only person to ever say that. I was never a drama person though and I miss that my biggest decision was what to do on a Friday night. I asked my friend this about her daughter who is about to turn five, I am guessing she was having a stressful day because she said, "Whatever age she isn't at now." :) My daughter is two and I really like this phase better than a newborn.

While I really miss my 20 year-old abs, I have enjoyed being 30. I feel like I am enough of an adult to make decisions without running it by someone and to be confident in who I am as a wife, mother and person.

As for my little guy... I feel like every stage is my "favorite" b/c he's doing new things every day. I do, however, miss that infant (not newborn) stage where they curl up on you like a bean bag and just sleep. There is something so relaxing about that... you can't do anything else while they're cuddling with you and I found myself just enjoying those moments rather than trying to multitask!
