So What Happened?

I have had almost a year to accept that this happened, doesnt mean I am ok with him that it happened though. maybe I should dress up like Patsy Cline, she always seemed heart broken... OR maybe be Loreena Bobbit (i dont remember her name exactly) and put a pretend "man piece" on a string and hang it around my neck...

OH Good idea mama! mommy dearest, haha... i actually bought my mom that dvd for xmas as a gag... lol...

Once again I'll probably be going as the "running home from work like a madwoman so we can eat, get the kid ready and be out the door by 6:00 pm lady" again. For the 9th year in a row. Yay.
Hate Halloween.

Go as Mommy Dearest. Robe, cold cream smothered on your face, carrying a wire hanger. Then you can be as angry as you want.

Sorry to hear that....but good for you for having a good sense of humor about it.

If we go to a party this year...we are thinking of going as Kat Von D & Jesse James.

So first off, Kudos to you for overcoming this, not in the emotional sense, of course that will take time but I commend you for staying with your husband. I do not know that I could have stayed...actually, I know I wouldn't have so good for you for being strong enough to do so! I am going to go as Smurfette! :)

I used to hate Valentines Day because my ex-husband decided that was a great day to leave me to take care of the needs of another woman. Yeah, well I ate all his candy that night. lol. (ok, I also ripped the head off the innocent stuffed animal I bought).
I say you should be Karma or "payback" =)
Me...I was going to be a pirate to match my kid, but I decided on the Bride of Frankenstein. I just think it would be more fun.

OMG, that would be SOOOO hilarious if you did the Bobbit!!

I am going to be a geisha. I got a costume last year, but all the adults bailed on me and wouldn't dress up, but my son begged me to this year.

I agree, sucks that happened to you but at least you can find humor around the situation. As for myself, I'm going as the Queen of Hearts.

HAHAHA!! Nice ;)

I'm going as the picture perfect pin up girl (not the slutty kind!) wearing a black with white polka dot tea length strapless dress, hair done pin up style, huge flower in my hair, sky high heels... husband might be going as a sailor, because then it would be a 'couples' costume (whatever!)...

My BFF is going as Dolly Parton, I can't WAIT to see her!!

Not sure... probably a witch b/c my baby bump is starting to show and that cape can hid a multitude!

We have decided, however, that the we'll be going as the family from Calvin & Hobbs next year! We already have a tiger costume for the baby and my son looks just like Calvin. Add overalls, a red shirt and a comb-over and we're all set! DH and I will go as his parents with my husband's shirts signed with Bill Waterson's signature!
