Stretchmarks After Babies

I have two wonderful children, 2.5 years and 8 months, but they've left me awful stretch marks. I put the cocoa butter on during my pregnancy but it didn't help. Now my stretch marks have faded but you can still see them. How can my tummy ever look somewhat not disgusting?? Any suggestions??

What can I do next?

Aloha E., I have a 3 month old and got a lot of stretch marks. I don't have any advice for getting rid of them. Only suggestions on seeing them in a more positive light as I've come to accept mine. I spent tons of money on creams too, but I am asian and it's definitely genetic in my family. So there's probably nothing I could have done to prevent it, but I tried anyway. I did "mourn" the loss of my pre-baby stomach for about a month, but now I am proud of my mommy body. At least they are not on our face! I didn't go around showing my belly before anyways, no one else will see these except my husband and son. My husband loves my body because it is me and I know my son will too. I try to eat right and exercise and that makes me feel good about how I look. It really is about inner beauty. Also, there's probably nothing short of plastic surgery that will get rid of them. Please realize that no one else really cares about your stretch marks so you shouldn't waste your energy feeling bad about them. I really feel, for those of us who get them, it's out of our control.

Arbonne's rejuvenating cream.
Works great!

They even have an incredible product line for babies with everything you need like:
diaper rash cream, baby oil, baby wash for hair and body (all in one, no tears), sunscreen and body lotion. The best is
that the set comes with a FREE rejuvenating cream for mom.

Plus you can use the baby products on your 2 and a half year old too. Except she won't need the diaper rash cream and the baby oil of course.

You can look up the cream on the following site:

http://www.stripeptin.com/SM_index.php

I found this link after seeing several ads for Stripeptin in magazines I read. I have no idea whether it works or not, but I noticed there is a free trial available from the website. The problem with stretch marks tends to be that they happen from the inside out, putting lotion or cream on your belly won't help if your skin is prone to getting them.

There are alot of scar removing products available over the counter now and I've seen some fantastic results, then again, I've seen others use it just as faithfully and had little or no improvement. I used fresh aloe-vera from the plant itself and it worked very well.....The lines are so minimal, it worked for me, you may want to try it out.....GOOD LUCK1

Unfortunately stretch marks will never disappear fully.
I suppose you can try creams, but I'm not sure if they work. They will fade over time.
You just have to accept that you will have them forever.
If it makes you feel any better Super Models have stretch marks too!
I saw Rachel Hunter one time at a fashion show and she was wearing a bathing suit and Lo and behold.....on her thighs, I saw stretch marks! Wow! I couldn't believe it.
Although we are not super models, I know it still stinks to see our bodies changing with child birth.
Belive me when I say, your Husband still loves you, stretch marks and all!
