T.B.
All of my bras are from Victoria's Secret. They really know how to size you right, and I've always loved how the bras fit on me.
I have to wear it Saturday, and either I've forgotten how uncomfortable it is, or one of us has changed size (I'm blaming the bra). So what do you wear with dresses that cannot be worn with your usual? Is there a more comfortable option (free form not being one)?? Thanks!

Go to Penney's and get a fitting--you may have changed sizes. With a strapless bra you can get away with an extender better than with a bra with straps. The extender will throw off the fit for your straps.
I have several strapless bra and they are all comfortable. Mine have the rubbery stuff in the band to hold them up.
fyi -- Lily of France makes some nice strapless bras.
I don't typically splurge on "name brand" clothing but the Victoria Secrets Biofit bras are great. The amount of padding depends on your cup size (the larger the cut, the less padding and more shaping). The have a regular one and a multi-way one that can be worn as strapless.
It is the best and most comfortable one I have ever worn.
Put on your regular bra and fold the straps along the inside. Make it as unnoticeable as possible.
I'm with TB. My bras come from VS. They have great regular bras that just have removable straps. So although you may feel like you are spending a lot of money, you get more than one bra out of it. Also, don't be afraid to get sized!! There was a study done that said 60% of women are wearing the wrong size bra. When we gain or lose weight our bra size changes. This is why bras hurt or don't feel comfortable. The ladies at VS always offer to check your size. Don't be weirded out. If you are going to be spending $50 on a bra, you want to love that bra and wear it often! Go having somewhat of an idea if you want it padded, lightly padded, push up etc. I promise you that if you go in there and have them size you, you will walk out of there loving your bra and the way you look in it!
My boobs are too heavy for strapless. I have fond memories of it ending up around my waist like a belt, in the middle of a party for my father. I have always (adult life) been professionally sized, so I haven't had a problem with wearing the wrong size.
Will a shrug work with this particular dress? I always find a cute sweater or scarf to cover me.
Not sure what size you are. I just purchased my first strapless for a wedding I will be in. I am a 44G cup. Yes, I typed that correctly.
Torture.For.Sure.
I long for a corset again (can't get one till I'm done losing weight)...
But until then the FFs stay in their normal bra and I just pull the straps down. Requires a dress with a tightish or fitted or empire bodice.
I have a Calvin Klein strapless bra.
More than one in fact.
Being in Hawaii, we wear a lot of tank tops etc., and actually, I prefer to wear a strapless bra than a regular bra.
Anyway, I like the Calvin Klein Strapless
bra.
I got mine from Nordstrom's.
