The easiest one I have found and my child and nieces and nephews love is 1 lb. ground hamberger, 1 can chicken gumbo soup and ketchup and mustard. I don't have measurements for the ketchup and mustard just to your liking. Hope you like them. Good luck on your search!!

1 1/2 lbs hamburger
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1 TBLSP vinegar
1 TBLSP brown sugar
1 TBLSP mustard
minced onion
Combine and simmer

I also will brown the meat and mix it all in the crockpot-low for 2-3 hours

So easy and very yummy!!!!

Sloppy joes.

This is my mom's recipe:

1-1/2 pounds of ground beef (browned and drained)
1 can tomato soup
1/2 cup of catsup (to taste)
1/4 cup brown sugar (to taste)
Optional: (1 can tomato paste 6 oz)
(I usually add about a half an onion chopped & chopped up a small amount of green pepper {it adds flavor but my hubby hates green pepper})

Mix them together and it's great.

Here's a recipe we made when we were kids, it's so simple. My little girls love to help too.

Brown hamburger
add ketchup, mustard, chopped up onions and brown sugar.

I'm sorry I dont have measurements, we do it all by taste=) Just squeeze in the ingrediants til it's to your likeing, this has always been the fun part of my mothers cooking, no measuring cups!! lol.

I do this and everyone in my family likes it.

- 1 lb Browned hamburger
- a good sized handful of chopped onion (chop super small if you have kids so they don't get a huge onion and get
- turned off of the onion taste) (or you could do a few shakes of onion salt)
- a handful of green or red pepper chopped up if you have some (optional of course)
- a few shakes of garlic powder
- a few short squirts of yellow mustard
- a few long squeezes of ketchup
- a clump of brown sugar, or what would fit in your palm
- salt and pepper to taste

Just toss it all in and it's done! :) Try grilling your buns on a flat pan with some butter on them too...MMmm. :)

My recipe is much like the other mom, Patty. I like to add shredded carrots to make it healthier, and you can't even tell. We're vegetarians, so we use Boca "meat crumbles" instead of ground beef but you don't have to of course.
Oh, also add a touch of apple cider vinegar.
