I recently moved to Schererville, IN and would love to hear of any great pediatricians out there that someone could recommend for my newborn who just turned a month old.
Thanks

C. C,

We took the kids to see Dr. Aaron King with the St. John Hammond Clinic before we moved further out. He's located very close to you and is wonderful. He responds well to kids of various ages (I think the boys were 8 and newborn when they last saw him & Megan wasn't born yet). He has helpful suggestions and really listens to mom and/or dad's instincts when planning care. Staff members were very friendly and professional.

He graduated from Rush Medical College and is Board Certified according to the Hammond Clinic web site.
The Hammond Clinic is at 11355 West 97th Lane, St. John Indiana ###-###-####. Check out the site for more info. If you need a family practitioner, Dr. Wang is the best at the same place! You can get the whole family taken care of at one building.

Welcome to the area! =)

I Have to agree with North Point Pediatrics. They are WONDERFUL! We have seen several of the doctors in the group and I am comfortable with any of them. We see Dr. Silvia Vicente regularly, and I can't say enough good things. I have called the office on a weekend and had a response from the Dr. within 3 minutes!!! We have been with them since my daughter was born. The number is ###-###-####. Good luck!

I take my daughter to Dr. Aaron King at the Hammond Clinic (I seen you already had one response about him) my baby is 5 and has been seeing Dr King since birth. She spent 5 weeks in the Neonatal ICU and Dr. King was very highly recommended by the hospital. His nurse is Judy and they are both very helpful, professionsl and nice. He's also fairly young, and he's american so very easy to understand (please don't take offense to this I'm not racist I just have a hard time understanging some accents.)

Hello,

The pediatrician I use for my 2 yr old twin daughters is great. If you have any questions, he'll actually take the time to answer them. His name is Mark Greenberg. He is located at 7310 w Lincoln Hwy Crown Point, IN 46307. His phone # is ###-###-####. Good Luck. Enjoy the baby stage while it lasts. It's over before you know it.

I swear by the North Point Pediatrics. They are located just across from St. Anthony's Hospital in Crown Point. There are several doctors in this practice. The office has extended hours, which is great! We have been with them for 5 years and love it! They can be reached at ###-###-####.
