I'm looking for a new hair stylist... Has anyone tried or had good success with any of the more inexpensive salons? Now that I have a little one at home, I'm finding it harder to make the time to travel across town for a good stylist, and especially when I'm paying $130 each time. That money could go for lots of other things these days! I live in New Hope but could travel a little if it was worth it. Thanks!
How is this for very little info. I JUST changed salons after years at one place. Oddly enough, this gal had been doing my husband's hair for years. Her name is Lydsey, she works out of Wayzata, that little tudor strip mall?!? If you are interested let me know I'll get her number, I am high maintenence in this category, so she's good!

My sister, Sarah, is a stylist at Van Strand near the Brookdale Target. She worked for Regis for about 10 years and now she's at this salon which her friend owns. Of course, I think she's fabulous. But I also know a lot of other people who think the same thing! (And they're not all family members :-)

I love Joelle at Revamp in Uptown Minneapolis. My husband and I stumbled across her a few years ago when we moved her and just love her. She's done a great job for both of us. Check out Paula Ennen at the Razor's Court in Maple Grove. I am not from the area so I don't know if New Hope is near Maple Grove. Paula is a relative of mine and does a great job every time!
