Hi Adrienne,
How about a massage? Men say that they don't like this kind of stuff, but my deer hunting, bird shooting husband LOVES a good massage. Maybe you could even do a couples thing!

Good Luck!

what about an evening away? you could book a night or a weekend at a nice hotel - you wouldn't even have to go too far if you didn'thave the time - the gaylord texan in grapevine is beautiful - from what i remember, they even have a spa there - you might be able to get a couples massage

congrats on celebrating your 10 year anniversary! that is awesome! my husband and i have not been married that long but i know a "get-away" is something he would really enjoy - guys are so hard to buy for :) good luck!

Cindy,
What an awesome idea! I might get that for my dad for Xmas! I hope more people post ideas on here!

My ideas:
* sports-related get away together for whatever your hubby's into-fishing trip w/a guide, hunting trip, rafting trip (spring-summer), ski trip, fitness resort, etc.
* electronics-i.e. new PDA, cell phone, etc.
*small and inexpensive-new framed portraits of you and he for his office
*visit a restaurant or place where you have memories from long ago (if practical-or even if it's not-do a surprise trip)

Hopefully someone will have another good idea-I have done most of these and our Anniv is Dec 24!
R.

Hello Adrienne,
Maybe you dont have to get him something maybe you can plan something special for him or make him something. My fiance's birthday is coming up and I planned a cute weekend getaway for him. We are taking a train ride to San Antonio and staying in a nice hotel off of the Riverwalk. I had the hotel set it up to where they will decorate the room with candles, rose petals, champagne and chocolates. Then I got him a massage and we will have dinner on a boat on the Riverwalk. It is just an idea, but a really nice surprise. Other than that manybe you could get him basketball tickets and take him to see a game or something.

Depending on what he likes to do....what about dance lessons? My husband has been trying to get me to go dancing for years and I can't dance so I never want to. I decided to get him (us really) dance lessons for Christmas. We'll be salsa-ing away for one night a week until we figure it out!

Also, as a side gift, I plan on getting him a real shave at a men's shop. There is one that just opened in McKinney called Roosters and one in the Galleria. They do 'old-time' lather and hand shaves, my husband is going to love it! Not exactly pampering at the spa, but the one in the Galleria is always booked.

That might take a while, but you could give him a book with pictures of you two from the past years. Creative Memories has a software (I can help you on that if you need) that you can download and do everything online with digital pictures. When you are done they will print and send it to you.
I did one for my husband with some of his motorcycle trips and he just LOVE IT!!! He shows it to everyone!
The covers are leather and the quality is excellent. It is worth it.

It wasn't for our anniversary, but my husband had a blast when he had the opportunity to drive an actual NASCAR at the TX Motorspeedway. He got to make like 20 laps and had an instructor beforehand and everything. I'm not sure how much that would cost, but if your hubby enjoys racing, then maybe...
