N. Mom.....I would recommend you stick with this same dr. if you've been there since the birth of your daughter unless you are having problems with them! but if you really choose to switch dr.'s then i would go under pediatricians of Tampa bay and find your closest one! Find one youa re happy with.

My 2 year old daughter has been seeing the doctors at "My Pediatrics", which is located in the Circuit City / Linens N Things plaza, since she was in the hospital. The office staff is SO nice, all the doctors are really wonderful - they listen, answer questions, I never feel rushed during a visit and the couple of times that I've called after hours, I've gotten a call within 10 minutes. Plus, they are open Saturday mornings until noon. I highly recommend this practice.

I take my kids to Pediatric HealthCare Alliance as well, although my kids see Dr. Jacob, and he is amazing! I've never been so happy with a pediatrician or a physician's office in general, and they also have other offices that offer night/weekend hours for emergencies.

I live in New Tampa in Meadow Pointe. I go to Pediatric Healthcare Alliance and absolutely LOVE Dr. Wilde. I currently go to the Wesley Chapel office (on BBD & 54), but he will soon be moving to the Land O'Lakes office which, if you take 56 to 54, it is up that way. Probably the same driving distance. The Wesley Chapel office # is ###-###-####.

Good luck!

I also use the My Pediatrics office that someone else mentioned. They are great! I've always been able to get my daughter in when necessary and they'll do a lot of consultation over the phone when needed (helps to avoid unnecessary office visits). They have hours 7 days/week and a separate waiting room for healthy kids. Most of my interactions have been w/ Dr. Masterman-Smith and lately we've seen a lot of Dr. Kolb. Both are excellent. One other thing I like about them is that several of the doctors have young children and so you feel like they really understand what you're going through when your child is sick. So, they give helpful "mom" tips (how to get your kid to take the medicine!) in addition to the doctor stuff. Good luck w/ your search.
