Hi, Someone told me about a Ribbon store where they would teach you how to make bows for your child's hair. Since then, I don't remember the store's name and haven't been able to get a hold of my friend to find out the name. Does anyone know of a store like this?
Thanks, E.

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the good suggestions. I did go to the store and had such a great experience. One of the ladies helped me choose the ribbon to match my daughter's dress and gave me ideas on what to do. Very helpful. Thanks once again!

Hi,

The one I know of is called Ribbons and Lace, or Ruffler's Roost, on the SW corner of Lindsay and Main. They have great ribbon and when my girls were young I took some classes there.

Hi - The one I know of is in Mesa. It's called Ruffler's Roost or Ribbons and More. You can look up either on line and they give the same info. ###-###-####. They are really nice - just call for the class schedule.

I do know there is a place called country bear gifts ( i think) on Gilbert and Southern in Mesa and there is a shelf in there with some really cute bows for real reasonable prices. Its next to a furniture store close to target. They are homemade but really well finished. Also if you have a myspace account there is one called Beckis boutique bows on there and she can make anything you want. Tutus too if you like frilly stuff!! That may hold you over if you want the look and variety but don't know how to do it yet. Wish I knew where to tell you to go for classes. Maybe ask at ribbons and lace on Lindsay and main?? Good luck!! -S

I believe the one you might be talking about is Ruffler's Roost Ribbons and Lace. I know it by the name Ribbons and Lace. They are in Mesa off of Main and Lindsay. My friend learned how to make bows at their store and she loved it. Their phone number is ###-###-####.

One other suggestion: Because I did not have the time or money to put out for the class I googled 'free bow making instructions' and found a site that showed you how to make at least 25 different types of bows. I will have to look up the site again because I got delete happy on my Favorites list and lost it. I will let you know if I find it.
