Hello, I am looking for little girl hair bows. I am interested in the boutique style, homemade bows. Do you know of any great places to find some without outrageous prices?

This week (9/24) I found cute ribbon clip style bows at Target (4 pck for like $2.99). They are medium size and solid colored and I found them in the baby area at the end of the diaper aisle at the new Cedar Park (1890 Ranch) location. These are the bows with ribbon over the "slide" clip and it's the first time I have seen them at a chain retail store. I have bought many news bows at resale shops, but the price at target is great!

Kid to Kid in the Lakeline area and Rock a bye baby in the Arboretum, I prefer the ponytail holder bows as its quicker to style and go.

Hi M..

Try Once Upon A Child at Anderson Mill. They have every color you could ever want and they are pretty reasonable considering the other prices I have seen around town. I think they start at $2 and go up to $4.50.

If you don't mind spending a little extra when you need something special you should try Dragon Snaps on Anderson Ln.

I agree with everyone on Kid to Kid near Lakeline Mall. They have a good selection.

I make hair bows and don't think they are priced outrageously. For 3" $4.00-4" $5.00-5" 10.00 & up depending on how fancy you want. You can see some of my bows at flickr.com. Just search for punkidoodles and my stuff will show up.

I bought some on ebay I was happy with. Just search boutique bows. Also the name of the store at the Lakeline Mall area is Kid to Kid. They have a large selection.

There is a kids resale shop next to Cool Cuts that has a large selection. I can't remember the name of the store but they are on the corner of 183 and Lakeline mall rd. The same shopping center as Texas Land and Cattle and Barnes and Noble.

Kara Copper makes FANTASTIC bows - all different sizes and tons of different varieties of ribbons. She will do custom ones to match specific outfits too.
My girls have a bunch and they are precious. She prices them very reasonably, too.
Small-$4.50
Medium-$5.50
Large-$6.50
Texas-$7.50
Baby Bow Bands-$8
Ponie-O's-$5
Initial Bow Holders-$12

Her email address is ____@____.com will send you a Kodak Gallery album to view some of her creations and you can go from there.

Good luck!

Another Mamasource mommy makes precious bows at reasonable prices. You can contact Ashlee through her website: www.little-love-bugs.com and she can make whatever you want! She has made all of my daughter's bows and people are always asking where I got them!
