Question About U-verse Use

We just changed from TWC and went with U-Verse. My husband has problems logging onto his laptop and I could not get me email about 5 minutes ago. Also the remote we have to use does not turn the TV on and off. We have to use 2 remotes. Are nay of you using U-Verse and what is your input about it so far. Thanks

We have U-verse and love it! We do have some issues with the internet sometimes, and will soon be taking that part out of our package though. The tv is great! Not sure why you're having issues with the remote. You have to sync your tv to the reciever to be able for it to turn on and off. Try that.

Call them for technical support. They will talk you through it. It is annoying when you call to get to the right source but, worth it in the end. Good luck. I think you will be happy once you get it programmed correctly.

We love U-Verse. We had a few problems at first since we were one of the first people in our area to get it, but it has been fantastic ever since. Any time we called with troubles (in the beginning), the customer service was great and they immediately fixed any problem. Good luck to you.

I have had U-verse for over a year. At first, I had some problems but they were resolved. I love it. You can program the U-verse remote to turn the TV on and off. You just need the code. Call tech support and they will help.

Have no idea about the internet mine has always been good.

my husband switched us to u verse a couple of months ago and i despise it. our internet is soooo slow and shuts off on us all of the time. our home phone doesn't work 100% of the time and the customer service is worthless.

We've had U-verse pretty much since it came out and we love it. We do have issues here and there with our service freezing up, but it usually corrects itself within a few minutes. We use two remotes as well (one for the TV and one for the U-Verse box) but my understanding is that you can program the U-Verse remote to do all of it. I use wireless internet in my home all day and it works great.

I don't have problems with the internet and mine is wireless. I have Pro speed and it is sufficient. It could be a couple of things, if you've had problems since they came and installed there may be a connection issue. If you are using a wireless signal you may have gotten disconnected and need to authorize it on the computer again. As for the TV if this was set up correctly it should effect both TV and Control Box, I actually hate this because sometimes I want to turn off one but not the other. AT&T has good customer service.
