Organic Produce Farm

Recently, I read an article in one of the local weekly newspapers about an Organic Produce Farm where you could sign up and have a basket of fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs delivered to your house. I wish that I had kept the article because I cannot remember the name or contact information. Does anyone know of this farm? Have you used their services? Would you share that information with me? I enjoy cooking healthy and delicious foods for my family and have been disappointed with the quality and types of fresh produce in the area grocery stores.

What can I do next?

Hi Kara,

If you do find one, please let me know also. I live in seffner and sometimes I go to pick up stuff at local farms. I am not really a big cook or anything, but I am vegetarian by choice and my kids eat almost all veggies and fruits.

Thanks
S.

Hi Kara! I was just at the new Hydroponic Stand off of Lithia-Pinecrest and Fishawk Blvd and they told me that they have that service available. I think it's $25 a week. They have nice fruits and veggies, but I did find that they are a bit over priced. Possibly because everything is grown with the Hydroponic Method rather then in he ground.
I hope this helps!
J.

yes! I too have heard about this farm and I'm trying to find out more info on it for your exact same reasons! I heard that you buy into shares of the farm (around $500 a year) but then you get a bag of produce each week! I think that price is a steal for organic, fresh produce.
I think the name is Sweetwater, or SweetGarden, somthing like that.
If I find out the exact info, I'll pass it along. Or, if you get the info, would you please email me?
Thanks so much!
K.
