The Mamas in this group keep proving to be such savvy shoppers. If anyone knows where I could find old movie posters (at a reasonable price), please let me know. I have checked Hobby Lobby - nothing.

Thanks in advance!

You might try your local movie theatre. I used to manage a movie theatre and if we had customers that asked for posters, we would usually give them the poster. Just call your local movie theatre and let them know what you're looking for. I used to have a LOT of movie posters - unfortunately my Mom sold them at a garage sale. I called her when a lady was walking out her door after paying .50$ for an ORIGINAL Lion King poster. I was hot when she told me that!

S.,

I would check on the Internet for reasonably priced ones. I have seen them at furniture stores such as Freed's and Haverty's. But these were framed. If you are just looking for the posters, I bet you'd have more luck online. However, most furniture stores that sell media room furniture have the framed ones. Good luck!

Check with video retailers (Blockbuster, etc)...they get posters in to promo the new movies...I know when I was in that business, we sold or tossed our old posters.

There is a store at Stonebriar mall that is going out of business that has lots of them, if they are still open. It is upstairs by Macy's I believe - everything is at least 50% off too!!
