Does anyone know where I can search for an apartment that is either a large one bedroom or a 2 bedroom that is in a decent area and close to the trains?? My budget is only $1000. Please help. Desperately seeking an apartment for me and my family

Hi L...how are you? Hope all is well...you can google and go onto craigslist..and put in the location as to where you are looking to live..or search apartments.com apt4rent...good luck..i'm also searching for a large 2br or 3br..

You can try craigs list. They have everything there. I got the job that I am currently at(day care center) through craigs list and I love it. it's at craigslist.com than click on the state you want than you can click apartments than you can type in the price range. You can also try Kings apartment but you have to pay a fee which is refundable if you don't find anything within three months but you need a computer to recieve the print outs of the list of apartments you need to go visit or call you can also go pick the list up once per week which I did and was time consuming. Rutherford, NJ is perfect for that fit. Train station to NYC AND the bus runs every 10 minutes here to get into the city.
SUPER nice community w/ gorgeous houses. Blue ribbon school district as well....

Hi L.. It would depend on which city you are looking for and state. In NJ I would suggest Essex or Bergen county since these areas are all very close to public transportation. I suggest you look at the local paper or drive around a neighborhood you like to check out the "for rent" signs. Usually apartment buildings are cheaper.
