Can any of you suggest a good pore minimizer for my face? Come summer time, it seems as if my pores love to open up!

I find that what works really well is just washing atleast 2x/day with one of those apricot exfoliating washes. Then I use the astringent before bed so the oil does not sit there. If it gets really bad I spot cover the bad areas with oxy before bed. But it seems to help alot to keep the pores clean and closed as much as possible. I know sweat in the summer is unavoidable. Good luck and hope it works!

Your pores open up so they can breath. He is gets hot oils can built up and clog your pores so they open to breath.
My suggestion is cleansing with a natural face cleanser and a good natural exfoliate. Products with tea tree oil are always good. I use Thoroughly Clean Face it has tea tree then I use a product from Bed and Bath Work with cucumber for exfoliating. Also minimizer the make up you wear. Make up can clog the pores even more. Also remember warm water opens the pores, cool water helps close them up. So always do a final rinse of your face with cool water.

Hi Kim!
I was told by MANY estheticians that are also friends of mine, that there isn't a product out there that will minimize pores. The pores open so that they can breathe and get cleaned out properly. Just make sure that you clean them with a make-up remover, exfoliating wash (warm water) and rinse with cool water. Use a toner and then an oil-free, hypo-allergenic, spf, moisturizer.
Good luck,

Hi Kim, I face teh similar thing I follow the following it helps. Use a vopurizer that will open up pores and get all the oils out. Clean your face and then apply a face pack to close the pores. Follow twice a week and after get better move on to once a week and then biweekly.

Hope it helps

Hi Kim!

I know the pain...mine have really opened up. I was using Arbonne and that didn't help...it worked for the cooler months but no longer.

I have now been using Loccitane's Rice system (it's for normal to oily skin)...cleanser, toner, ultra-matte face fluid & mask. I do see & feel my pore's tightening up. The face is not so oily. It is made with organic red rice which is supposed to mattify. The toner is to purify the skin, while tightening pores.

You can purchase this online or at Deer Park & Woodfield Mall.

Good luck!
