Hello, I have the same problem... I use La Prairie Cellular Time Release. You can get it at Saks and it runs about 135.00. It last for a good 4 months. I LOVE it!! Good Luck with finding the product that works the best for you!

I love love love!! Bare Escentuals RareMinerals. Its not a lotion or a cream! It's like powder puff. I got DH to get one for me as an early xmas gift (its about $60, but lasts a year). You might want to go into a BE store and talk to someone about it. In addition to reducing wrinkles from forming it also reduces pore size (i've seen this in the 3 weeks i've used it)
Good luck!

Hey C.,

I sell Arbonne too but for oily skin I would recommend the Rejuvenating Cream. It's one of my favorites and a good starter for oilier skin. If you decide to try Arbonne, the other consultant can get you either one you'd like to try. I just thought I'd give you another suggestion.

I've use Mary Kay they have products for different skin types, they products for oily skin moisturize without making your skin more oily. I also love Jafra but the consultants are more for and in between and its more expensive than Mary Kay. Mary Kay isn't as expensive as Jafra or Clinique but it seems like these days everyone has stepped up to the plate. I used to not like Avon's Anew line I didn't ever see a difference. I do know that you can find Jafra on EBAY alot cheaper, I got the most compliments on my skin when I used it, I really need to go that route again, but with everything I've tryed I am pretty satisfied with Mary Kay and there are consultants everywhere. Get there daily 5 and some eye cream you'll be happy. The two main things is to find a cleanser and stay away from soap and a daily moisterizer.

I have oily skin as well and just found that gels work better for me than cremes. Someone mentioned the oil of olay anti-aging line and I've been using the gel product that is part of that line in morning and evening and I find that it provides enough moisture for me without making my skin to oily. I have also used an equivalent anti-aging product in the Arbonne line. I've liked both. The oil of olay is less expensive and you can get it at most of your grocery stores and pharmacies.

I used to have really acne prone skin as well. The derm put me on a 20% glycolic acid cream. I really like the 20% cream by Topix, it also contains green tea extracts and coQ10, which is great for anti-aging. I used this at night in addition to my Olay Renegenerist cream. I used Olay's Renegerist lotion with SPF 15 during the day. The glycolic acid has decreased the amount of oil production and made my skin clear and smooth.

You can find the glycolic acid cream pretty cheap on folica.com. Just do a search on their site for "Topix 20% Glycolic Acid" and it should bring up what you need. Hope this helps!

I don't know your age - but I'm 38 and STILL get zits when I try something like loreal or revlon. I have always used and highly recommend oil of olay. I use the daily mosturizer for sensitive skin, I think they have one for oily?? All are SPF15 available. Anyway, even though almost all of the other brands say they are non-comedigenc ( won't clog pores) they aren't for people with goofy skin. I use clean and clear daily pore cleanser (not blackhead remover)in the shower when I wash my face after soap, and then the o-o-lay. For the turkey neck, I recently found an eye cream (that I also use on my neck) about a month ago at walgreens. It is called 'say YES to carrots' and it has lots of vitamins for your skin and works well in small amounts. I use that at night.

Otherwise if you are in a position to do so I used to use ANEW creams from AVON and loved it. I just fell out of ordering when my rep moved. But, then again that was like 15 years ago and you couldn't yet order anything on-line. Good luck. When you find what you are looking for stick with it.

I too have the same issue and after trying many products I stumbled onto a great line available at Kohls and it is very affordable. They carry a line called Good Skin in the cosmetic section and it is available for 4 skin types. I used the one for oily skin and they even have a trial set you can buy to see if you like it. You also HAVE to try the Smooth-365 peptide serum. I have never found anything I could wear under my make-up without it feeling oily. This goes on so light and it makes your make-up stay on and your face looks really fresh!
GOOD LUCK!

I would suggest getting a Mary Kay consultant to look at you, because their products are awesome. If you don't want to go the expensive route, though, olive oil will balance your skin and help with wrinkles. My little girl has very oily/acne prone skin, and it has really worked to balance out her skin and make it beautiful. I have dry skin, and it has helped me in the same way. I used to be a Mary Kay consultant, and now I'm doing the olive oil.....and at age 31, most of my friends have crow's feet, but I don't. You can either use the olive oil as a mask (which is how I started out), by putting a lot on your face at night and putting a towel over your pillow so that you can sleep with it on. Then when you wake up in the morning, wash it off with a warm washcloth (notice, no soap). Then, on a daily basis, you can use it as your cleanser by putting it all over your face, then wiping off with a warm washcloth. Your skin will be more beautiful even from the first time that you do it. Supposedly this is the cure for most skin problems, and so far we are seeing results in my twelve year old and myself.

Neutrogena makes a good one - don't remember the name - but basically it's for Acne/Large pores and wrinkles.

I use Mary Kay - I'm happy with it, but it's significantly more expensive. If you decide to go with it, the Miracle Set - combo oily is all you need (Cleanser, Moisturizer, Day cream, and night cream).

Wow. Looks like a lot of networking going on those past replies.
I too have some oily skin. Good news is that we are not prone to wrinkle as much as our dry face friends! Bad news is the acne, and large pores as you might already know.
I would suggest Oil of Olay firming cream. You just need a dab a night and your skin just sucks it up. It won't clog your pores and cause more acne. Just a note on my personal experince regarding acne and oily skin: I notice that my acne is actuality worse without using a moisturizer on it. Which seems the opposite of what I thought. What is important is that you use something that gets some of those dead skin cells off of your face by using something to ex foliate it. As we age, our cell turnover rate slows down alot so it helps with aging and acne too. :)

HI I SELL AVON AND I LOVE THE "ANEW DEEP CREASE SERUM" NOT OILY AT ALL IN FACT AVON RECOMENDS THAT YOU USE A MOISTURIZER WITH IT. I HAVE SEEN DRAMATIC RESULTS IN MY FACIAL LINES AND MY CUSTOMERS THAT USE IT. JUST GO TO www.myavon.com GOOD LUCK, AND NOT TO BE LITTLE MARY KAY, BUT WHEN I USED THEIR SKIN CARE I BROKE OUT REALLY BAD WITH ALLERGIC SENSITIVE RASHY SKIN THAT LASTED FOR MONTHS, EVEN AFTER I DISCONTINUED USE. I HAD TO WASH WITH JUST PLAIN WATER!

Hi C.,

I've tried alot of products: Arbonne, Origins, Estee Lauder, Mac, Neutragena, Aveeno, Keihls,Dermalogica, all have their strengths and weaknesses.

I've seen alot of suggestions here..but one I had not seen yet was L'Bri..it is a company out of Wisconson that makes a great skincare line. Their main ingredient in all their products is Aloe Vera! FABULOUS - they do not spend alot on packaging or advertising, so you get alot of product for a very reasonable price. It is great for all skincare types. They deliver quickly (about 4-5 days) FREE SHIPPING (if you spend $60) and NO TAX!! A FIVE piece set is $74.50 and includes cleanser, toner, moisturizer, facial scrub & eye gel. I would also recommend the facial mask (great for firming) and the time erase (alpha hydroxy).
I order it through a rep here - ____@____.com

I've been using L'Bri for nearly 2 years and have yet to find a better cleanser, toner or eye gel (use all over the eye area).
Best wishes for beautiful skin.

I now have 30 year old skin that screams for moisturizer, but still have occasional oily spots, break outs...I thought this was supposed to end after puberty, but not my lot.
I started using Oil of Olay Total Effects Acne/Age fighting moisturizer and cleanser. It works great. It has never caused a breakout, irritated my skin, and actually, I think my skin has become better using it. (I sound like a commercial.) It is about $17.00 for the moisturizer, $10.00 for the cleanser, and you can get it at HEB or Wal-mart, and do not have to go the the mall when you run out. I just use it in the shower. I use the moisturizer twice daily in the am, and pm. I love it. I never feel oily or greasy. THe only thing, I cannot put face make up on right after applying it. It makes my make up cakey looking. But if I wait an hour or so, it is fine.
Good luck

Hi,
Here are steps to take daily to get the clear (and less oily) skin you have been looking for:
Wash your face no more than 2x per day to not over stimulate oil production.
Use hot water to wash yourself to drain out some of the extra oil.
Use specially medicated soaps for your skin type.
Eat a healthy diet including unprocessed, fresh fruits and vegetables
Drink plenty of water.
Do not smoke.
Use vinegars (apple vinegar) for a neutralizing effect if necessary.
Regularly brush and massage of the whole body stimulates circulation.
Try oil supplements that may be beneficial for your skin.
Get sufficient sleep so skin cells can repair.
Exercise regularly to nourish and cleanse your skin.
You can apply also skinlastin. It can do to improve your oily skin.
