Hi, I am trying to find a new pediatrician for my two sons. I have previously used Dr. Lloyd Hudson, switched to Dr. Mark Oliver. I like Dr. Oliver but very rarely do my kids ever see HIM. It's a large office of doctors and the people working there are not very nice. I would like a Dr. with a private practice or a small office of Dr's. Please help!!

What can I do next?

I use West Georgia Pediatrics and they are wonderful. There are only two doctors, Dr. Yeiser and Dr. McCloud. Dr. Yeiser takes her time with you and makes sure your questions are answered before she leaves the room. The only thing is that if it's not during normal office hours you'll have to go to Pediatric After Hours. I've never had to go there, but I've heard from a friend who also uses Dr. Yeiser has had good experiences even there. Hope it helps!

H.,

You might try Dr. Paul Steinwachs. He is in a private practice, very personable and takes call coverage with Dr. Mansfield & Flowers. He has always been very accessible to me and his office staff is very nice. I work with him professionally and never mind calling him with patients problems.

I personally LOVE Dr. Paul Stienwachs. Its just him and his PA, everyone calls her "Al". She is absolutly wonderful as well. My sister-in-law recommeded him to me. When her little girl had her 2 month shots, she cried for like 20 minutes. When Dr. Stienwachs saw that she was still crying, he put down his clipboard, and picked her up and paced the hallway with her until she stopped. Now, thats what I call bedside manner! I have a three year old and a 15 month old.

Hi H.,
I just moved here a few months ago but I was recomended to use Dr Donna Yeiser of West Georgia Pediatric Partners. We have been there probably 4 times and love it there. She and her office are great with my little guy and I always see her on my appointments and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Which is very inportant to me having a little one. There are only two doctors at this office and they see the patients, so it is a smaller practice. Hope this helps.

Black and Benton in Fountain City is great. There are 4 Dr.s in the group. They have weekend hours. Send me a message if you would like the number.

my nephew sees dr yeiser and she's great. I have taken him to see her a few times, we never wait very long either. I take my children to Rivertown Peds. I love being able to get in whenever we need to.
