Our insurance is dropping our pediatrician and he has been so good with my son who has asthma. Just wondered if any one has a pediatrician that they love. I am looking for someone who is very thorough. We live in the Grove city area, but I am willing to drive if the person is really good. Thanks so much!

I would try Dr. Richard Kern or Dr. Hienmiller at Gahanna Pediatrics. I don't know if they are seeing any new patients or not. But I love both doctors they are really great and both of my kids like both doctors. The office number there is ###-###-####.

Good luck and I hope that this info helps you.

We have the best pediatrician ever...she is awesome and I would highly recommend her! They are accepting new patients also, the practice is called Canal Winchester Family Health and the doctor we see is Laura Bowser. The office is located just off Gender and 33, barely Canal even...not a far drive from Grove City and very worth looking into. We have never had any problems being squeezed in for sick visits with Dr. Laura...she does not work on Tuesdays but she is there the other 4 days and she has an evening on-call cell that rings directly to her or her partner Dr. Stacy Scudder. The office phone number is: ###-###-####. Good luck...I know how hard a good pediatrician is to find, but we love ours!

Hi L.!

I live in the Grove City area as well. I take our children to Professional Pediatrics in Hilliard. We see Dr. Mark Muresan - and LOVE him...but I've had to see 2 of the other doctors on occasion (when we've been squeezed in for a sick visit)...and liked them as well. I LOVE the practice! We never have a long wait...no more than 20 minutes, and usually much less. Dr. Muresan is incredible with the kids. We get in same day for sick visits. Everyone there is fantastic. Here's the phone number: ###-###-####. Good luck!

We have seen Dr Carl Backes (Kiddie West Pediatrics on West Broad) since our son was born. We love him but dislike his office staff. Friends of ours take their son to Dr Ali Carine at Big Run Pediatric (Klime Road, ###-###-####). She is accepting new patients in March so we have an appointment. They really like her and we are hoping for a great experience at our first appointment.

I also take my daughter to Ali Carine at Big Run Pediatrics. Sometimes we have to wait ahile, but that is because she is pretty thorough with all of her patients. The office staff is great, and Dr. Carine is pretty holistic, and stays very current on research in pediatrics. She has a lot of experience with autism and allergies as well.

before seeking out a new doc, talk to the doc and to the insurance co. You can petition them to keep the doc. and sometimes the doctors will work with you and accept anything your insurance will provide and if you trust the doc explain the situation to them and get a recommendation from them.
