Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions regarding pediatricians? We moved here almost 2 months ago, and soon I'll need to take my kids, ages 2 & 4, for their well visits.
We go to UVA Pediatrics at Northridge. I know its a little far from Waynesboro, but we've also gone through 3 pediatricians before finding this one and its GREAT. We see Dr. Emily Wong, but have not yet had a bad experience with any of the doctors. Good luck!

I don't know if you work/come to charlottesville often, but the BEST pediatric office is Piedmont Pediatrics, my son has seen each doctor (he was very sick as an infant) but his primary doctor is Dr. Michel. I love Dr. Michel and we see him whenever my son is sick, but it was really nice when my 4 month old was unconscious and still vomiting (from a soy allergy) to have a doctor I knew with me at the hospital, no ER, they admitted him and they took care of him, they knew him. Having a child who in the first year of his life was hospitalized three times and had 3 surgeries, I got to know my doctors very well and for everyone I knew that recommended them, and everyone I knew did, they were the best. They are associated with Martha Jefferson hospital, and I work for UVa Psy Med and I still would never change. Best of luck!! Welcome to the area!!

Also, I have a 2 yr old girl and she has the best pediatrician! His name is Dr. Eric Crawford. He has a great sense of humor and makes you feel comfortable to ask as many questions as you want. Their website is http://www.thepediatriccenter.org/physicians.asp .
I take my daughter to Augusta Pediatrics in Fishersville. It is near AMC. I have always liked them and never had any bad experiences. I would prefer if they had a little later hours but other than they they are great. I have also heard wonderful things about Waynesboro Pediatrics (across from the Kroger on 250).
I am personally not part of a Mom's group but I do know there is one in Waynesboro. I was invited by a friend quite awhile ago so I no longer have the info but keep looking someone on here I am sure has the info.

I'm not sure where Waynesboro is, but if you're anywhere around Portsmouth/Chesapeake, I would recommend Tidewater Children's Associates. There are a ton of doctors, something like 14 or maybe more, but they try to be consistent with who you see, though I'm not picky and have only had one experience I didn't care much for. I highly recommend this group.
This may be a bit far for you, but I believe that a co-worker of mine takes her daughter to the Carillion in Weyer's Cave. We go to Harrisonburg Pediatrics. Although there is an office in McGaheysville, that would still be a bit of a drive for you.
