Looking for a Referral

I don't know if you're interested in a family practice doctor, but we go to LeAnne DeTar Newbert (Living Water Family Care ###-###-####), located next to Providence Medical Center in KCK. She delivers lots of babies and sees lots of peds patients. She delivered my daughter almost 4 months ago, and she is now her doctor as well. Besides being her patient, I have also worked with her as a medical student, and she is an all around great physician! I would highly recommend her. I had a great experience delivering at Providence, but I know many of the other hospitals in the area are wonderful, so I really don't think you can go wrong.

hi J.! I love my OB...Dr. Leah Ridgway at Women's Health Associates. Their offices are just next to Shawnee Mission Hospital on 75th & I35.

My two sons see Dr. Mary Tyson of Johnson Co. Pediatrics who is also in that same area in the medical building next to the hospital. I highly recommend them both! :)

Hi J.. It looks like you are already getting lots of referrals. I wanted to recommend my OB/GYN. Her name is Melanie Martin and she is at Johnson County OB/GYN. They just opened a new building right off of I-35 and 75th (on the frontage road). She has delivered both of my children and we have been extremely happy with her. -- We also LOVE our pediatrician. His name is Dr. Bryan Nelson and he is at 75th and Antioch (in the medical buildings by Shawnee Mission Medical Center). Hope that helps and good luck.

I wanted to let you know about my OB/GYN. Her name is Dr. Kathleen Stone and she is located in a practice called the Women's Health Care Clinic, which is right next to Overland Park Regional. Their phone number is: ###-###-####. She has been my doctor for the past 18 years and I think she is the greatest. We have had problems conceiving and she has worked with me for the past year and a half. I am happy to say that I am not pregnant. They also have great mid-wifes if you need to get in unexpectedly. I recommend Women's Clinic of Johnson County - Dr. Carrie Grounds. There are 10 doctors at this clinic and all are female. They have 3 office locations. One is right next to Shawnee Mission Medical Center. ###-###-####.

I love my OB/GYN-Women's Health Associates. I have Dr. Swartzman but many others are all great. As for pediatrician-I go to a family practice. I see 2 doctors there-Dr. Matthew Buss sees my daughter and I see another one there. They are all great and never have a problem getting her in when I want her to see a doctor.

i wanted to let you know about the ob/gyn. She is at womens heath care clinic at op regional. her name is pam pray she is a midwife but they also have doctors. i had to see courtney younglove and loved her. i know how hard it is to find good doctors. i was in your shoes last year. i still have not found a good ped. doctor but still looking. i just had a son 4 weeks ago at op regional womens clinic it was very nice. i hope you fine some great doctors.
