Looking for a Good Restaurant

A really cool place in Troy is Kona Grill, it's on the corner of Big Beaver & Livernois. Its' atmosphere is similar to PF Chang with a sort of Asian/Hawaian/American menu. They also have a sushi bar (if you're into that).

Another really nice place I recently went to was Brio at Partridge Creek. It was excellent, but expensive.

My favorite restaurant of all time is Da Francesco, located on Van Dyke between 22 & 23 Mile Road.

What about Shogun, a Japanese Steakhouse. I believe there is one on Van Dyke in Sterling Heights. It might not be romantic, but it is fun.
Andiamos at 14 and Van Dyke would be good (it might be out of your way), that would have more ambience and I think they might have an outside patio.
If he likes Mexican, El Charros at 14 and Utica has an outside patio, but again not sure if that is in the area you are looking.
All have good food.

Mezzaluna's on 16 & Van Dyke in Sterling Heights is great! I'm not sure if they have an outdoor patio, but I know they have bands some nights for ambience.

Ok, with outdoor patio there are actually a few and I'll list them out for you, hopefully I don't miss any, but I'm sure I will.

Champs on Hall Rd and M-53
Brio at Partridge Creek Mall

California Pizza Kitchen at Partridge Creek Mall
Andiamo's in the Lakeside Circle
There is a Greek place in a strip mall on the corner of Romeo Plank and 22 Mile that has a patio out back.
There are a bunch in the downtown Rochester Area and their outdoor mall area also, like Bravo.
On 19 Mile Road and Garfield there is Ernies Kings Mill.

Like I said I probably forgot some. But for Romance I LOVE BRIO!! My hubby's and my 12th Anniversary is on Sunday and we are celebrating on Saturday. Right now we have reservations at Morton's Steak House in Troy (not sure if they have a patio or not??), but we are thinking of canceling and going downtown and then to the Casino, since we like to do that twice a year for fun :)

Make sure if you go to PF Changs or Brio that you call for reservations or you'll be waiting for a while to get a table.
