I am looking for a good female gynecologist in the Vancouver area. Someone who will listen and not jump to prescribe medicine. Someone who will look for the root of the problem, not just treat the symptoms. Thank in advance!
I see Dr Kruger at the Vancouver Clinic location near SW Washington Med Center. I haven't had major problems, so I can't say how she is as far as jumping to meds, but she's taken plenty of time to talk to me and answer questions, etc. I've really liked her.

2nd the Cascadia Women's Clinic - I've heard good things from my friends who see Dr Slayton-Milam.
Check out Southwest Medical Group. A bunch of doctors from Women's Clinic moved into that group and they are great. Drs. Farber and Fox are my favorites and I have been seeing them for years.
I go to Cascadia Women's Clinic in Salmon Creek. All the doctors there are women. I see Dr Hutchinson and she's great.

I like Dr Wendy Draper with the Vancouver Clinic. With my first baby it was her day off and she came in and pushed with me for more than 2 hours until delivery. She isn't quick to prescribe meds or at least thats been my experience with her. She's great!
Cascadia Women's clinic-Dr.Suzanne Slayton-Milam. I worked with her when we were both at Portland Prov. I used to be a labor & delivery nurse. I prefer midwifes, but I LOVE her! I highly recommend her.
I've gone to Barbara Forsythe for about a year and I've liked her very well. I was referred to her by my nurse practitioner. My midwife also had very positive things to say about her.
