Dr. Colleen Fox at the Women's Clinic of Vancouver is excellent. She has been there through both of my pregancies and although I'm done, she's ready for me to have another (ha ha). This clinic is located behind SW Medical Center (hospital on Mill Plain). Good luck!

I have the best one for you she works in two Hospitals in Portland, Emanuel & Providence & was voted in Portland Magazine as one of three "Best OBGYNs in Portland" A huge accomplishment since she has only been in the Portland area for about 4 yrs. now. Her name is Dr. Lisa Johnson of the Women's Clinic ###-###-####. She is young & very forward thinking, extremely down to earth, friendly, personable , etc.

She came highly recommended to me by two co-workers after I had had 4 failed pregnancies & my previous Dr. asked me if I was ready to give up! Of course I wasn't, I wouldn't have gotten pregnant all of those times, if I didn't want another baby. Well, thanks to Dr. Johnson I now have wonderful, healthy, busy 10 month old fraternal twin boys in addition to my 5 yr. old son & my 22 yr. old stepson.

Best of luck to you J.!

I've been happy with the Women's Clinic off 87th Ave in the SW WA Medical Center. Most doctors practice as well out of the Women's Clinic in Legacy Salmon Creek. Based on where you live you may want to check one out!

Cascadia Women's Clinic. It's practically across the street from the Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital. I see Dr. Hutchinson, she is wonderful. I've met all the other doctors there as well and all are very friendly. I just switched from a clinic in Portland a year ago and have been VERY pleased with my expirience there. She came over from the clinic to deliver my baby so it was nice to have my own doctor there for that.

I live in Portland but my OB is in Salmon Creek. If you have Kaiser, she's wonderful. She used to be in Portland, moved to Vancouver Clinic, then to Salmon Creek. I've been with her for 13 years and 4 kids. Her name is Vicky VanDyke. Good luck on your search!

OMG i have the best obgyn. She did one of my c-sections and my hysterectomy. I trust her with my life. She is the nicest and during both events in my life, everyone who asked who my dr was, I always got a great response. Her name is Leslie Struxness, and she has a practice on East side of town in Vancouver. Try her, and you will be hooked!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Cascadia Womens Clinic. I had my son last year and they are wonderful!. It is an all women clinic so all the staff are women. I have never had a woman OB but I went to Dr. Hutchinson and she is great. I have seen a couple of different Dr's there and they are all wonderful.

They are located up by the Salmon Creek Hospital. I have to drive a ways to see them now but it is worth it. They will deliver at either hospital, Legacy Salmon Creek or Southwest Washington.

I've been going to the vancouver Clinic since I was a kid and I started out with Dr. Chin(who is at kiaser now) and she was really cold, rude and just didn't make you feel comfortable about going in to get your downstairs in order. Then with my first baby I switch to a midwife, best decision I ever made. My first one was Irene peterson(shes over at ohsu now) I was with her for about 2 years, she was warm, friendly, just had the additude that made you feel liked she cared, she never rushed me or made me feel uncomfortable. I just love midwives(I'm sure there are a few bad ones somewhere) They just have a different approach that makes you feel good. Now I have Michelle Lachance but I go to Melissa Mack as well they are angels. And its not all hippie, home birth, blah blah just because they are midwives, I mean they help you with that if you want, but I had the drugs!

I live in Vancouver, but I still go to my OB GYN in Portland. My doctor's name is Oscar Polo and he's a part of Women's Health Today located at Providence Portland Medical Center on Glisan. There are female OB GYNs there also. I've always been pleased with the service/professionalism, etc. there. Dr. Polo delivered my two youngest children. I have three children, the youngest is turning 8 next week. I've gone to Dr. Polo for my yearly pap and for my Merina IUD.
