This is a tough one... It is almost like he is having a bit of a temper tantrum. Guys get moody just like women do. Sometimes (not all the time, but definitely when nerves are raw) you will have to ignore the bad behavior and praise the good behavior just like you would a kid. Also, when I talk to my husband about things I would like to see changed, I am not accusatory at all. Just matter of fact, with no judgment. He might be going through something that he is not telling you.

If you want to save this marriage, you will have to show a carefree exterior. Like you are comfortable and loved, with or without him. Most guys respond well to that. You need to take the perspective of a bird perched on your lamp-post - what does that bird see when he watches you two? It is very difficult to separate yourself from the situation, which is the EXACT reason why counseling works! There is a non-judgmental 3rd party involved.

Also, spend at least 15 minutes a day meditating. Whether it is with the Bible or just spending time breathing and monitoring your heartbeat and your thoughts, spend that time! Also, before I say ANYTHING that could be misconstrued to my husband, I go for a 5-10 minute walk around the neighborhood. I had to do that yesterday!!! ;)

Good Luck. Take some deep breaths, and look at the situation from the birds-eye perspective.

S.
ps. hope I don't sound to preachy. please don't take it that way - just trying to help...

Oh no! That's terrible. I'm so sorry to hear that. Is there any chance your husband will consent to marriage counseling? I wish you the best. Hang in there.
