OMG, so a couple weeks ago, I got my kids some Easter Basket goodies.
And I came home and hid it. In a good place.
But NOW, I cannot find it and forgot where I put it!
GEEZ!
I looked all over the house, many times and cannot find it!
Good grief!

What can I do next?

Hi there,
I don't know if this is a blooper, but, my daughter had a library book we have been reading for a week or so, and the other night I went to read it and couldn't find it anywhere. The whole family has been looking for days now, and it is no where in sight. WHAT???? We just had that book!!!!!! It's due in a few days and and I'm like "what the hell!!!!" It's not even a small book............
We always loose things in my house, and it is only 1500 square feet!
Take care!

My blooper today happened about an hour ago....

My 12 yr old wiped out on his bike, riding the block to our house from the school. He came up to me mowing the lawn crying... then I seen his knee!

His knee looks like raw hamburger and has a huge hole in the middle bigger than a nickle/ smaller than a quarter... needless to say on a knee its huge!! I took him in the bathroom and put his foot in a bucket and started at the ankle cleaning the blood off. then got to his knee and was sqeezing water over it trying to get some of the dirt and hopefully some of the rocks out of it with out actually touching it.

It wasn't working real well so I actually had to touch it with the rag and when I did he let out a scream and the blood gushed from where a rock was... all the sudden I get sick and passed out on him.

I wasn't out more than a minute or two, but still I was supose to be taking care of my hurt baby! I had him get in the shower and let the water gently run down him to clean it out while I went out and got some fresh air. He came out of the shower, it was clean and I seen how deep it actually was and got sick all over again and almost passed out a second time.

Well... right now my husband and my son are at the Dr having them look at it. I feel aweful I didn't go with but I knew I wouldn't be able to sit in the same room while I dug around in it and I didn't want him to do it alone so my husband took him up... Im getting sick again just typing this...

Yup there is my blooper today... not feeling like Im going to get the mom of the year award over this one. I can handle blood! Just not seeing any of my kids in pain... it gets me every time. Its not an easy job staying strong with 4 rowdy boys...

today was the 4th time I have done this.. I guess not bad over almost 16 years.. I just wish I could be strong for them until the end... but atleast this time I didn't do it on main street and wake up to an oxygen mask from someone calling the ambulance ;)

AHH YES, so this morning I sent my aunt an email telling her we can not join her saturday to go to her church and go to a chuck e cheese type thing with them (her, my mom, and brother & sister) I didnt give her a reason, because there are alot. So anyhoo, she replied with a smart remark basically implying that I dont know the real reason for easter, and its not all about the candy adn eggs... uh... How did she get that out of "sorry we cant make it, thanks for the envite, yall have fun"
So at the same time, I was emailing my mom, and I was complaining about how she is, it was already a rough morning.
BUT... I accidently sent the email to my aunt and not my mom.. lol
so needless to say, that left for an interesting morning... lol OOPS

I have done the Email blooper like below. I also have recently done a chat blooper that screwed me out of a great deal on what I was selling. ARGH... I was messaging one potential buyer which I KNEW I didnt want to meet that far away, when another popped up saying she would take it and come to my home. I didnt hesitate to tell that one she could have it, and told the other that ooops there was a medical emergency in my family I wouldnt be able to meet. Only to THINK I went back to the one I wanted to sell to and tell her OK deal is off you get it, thank GOD I didnt have to drive that far to meet her. YEAH forgot to switch the users. Typed it to the one I told about the "medical emergency" whhhhhooops
Then the one that I DID say could have it, never showed :(

Ugh! I did the same thing with my little guys soccer socks. I just knew he would lose them and wouldn't have them come game time. So I made sure I put them in a good and safe place! I am still looking for them. : /

The "I put it away so well I can't find it" happens so often in our house that it's no longer even considered a "blooper"! :)

On the flip side, when I'm looking for something completely different that's when I find the item I couldn't find before .... it's never boring :)

Ha ha, that's so funny. I do that all the time. Right before the Christmas season really hit, I was in Pottery Barn and found a couple of cute little gifts for my son and his friend who lives across the street from us whom we spend a lot of time with. Apparently, I hid it at work since Christmas decor was no where near ready at our house (it may have been before Thanksgiving even).

Along comes Christmas and it's literally the day before we leave work for the holidays and the whole time I was thinking the gifts were under the tree, so I didn't think anything of it. Then a colleague asked if I had any wrapping paper, so I go to open my cupboard and there are these two gifts. I sat staring at them not knowing what the heck they even were because in my addled brain I had already put them under the tree. It took 5 minutes of me talking to myself before I realized they were in fact the ones I bought eons ago. Whew! I would have been frantically searching for them and probably blaming my husband in the process had I not found them;)
