is there something about your child/children, some characteristic, something about them that when they do it, your whole body just smiles??? i know i'm biased here, but my sons have the most beautiful smiles!!! i thought to myself, those smiles are worth more than any ammount of money or material thing in the world. i just live for their cute little crooked grins, the way their eyes smile too, their whole face just lights up! i know, i am biased about my boys....lol...so, what do your kids say/do etc that you just cant live without?

p.s...the way they try to crawl is my 2nd fav...too cute!

What can I do next?

Well right now my 23 month old son will get in my lap and put a hand on both sides of my face and turn my head towards him so he can kiss me. Just so sweet that it melts my heart everytime. My 8 year old daughter will snuggle up with me every chance she gets. I cherish these moments with both of them because I know that it won't last forever :(.

My almost 5 year old son... will look at me for a long time, like with puppy dog eyes and all dreamy eyed... and he will tell me "I love you Mommy, your'e the best...." and then he'll hug me, and then with his fist, sort of like 'punch' me gently and then hug me again... like what a pre-teen boy will do with a girl he has a 'crush' on.
Rudimentary, sort of affection.
So adorable.
My son is really expressive with his emotions. Which I am glad for.
That, makes my whole body and being, just smile.

My teenager has the deepest, prettiest dimples. One flash of those pretty teeth and those dimples just make everything ok! He is very funny too. Very quick with the come backs. Alittle like his mom :) My toddler has fantastic eyes. Both of them have deep brown eyes and her eyes just sparkle. They are so dark and the whites are sooo white. Just lovely. When she getss excited or sad her eyes tell the whole story. Love these kids!

There's a bazillion things of course but the main one is....
My daughter's blue eyes.
Short version....
I have green eyes and my guy has brown.
My dad passed away a month before I delivered and I was really devistated. I feel as though he couldn't be there in person, but he gave a part of himself to her.
My heart melts everytime I see those blue eyes looking at me. =)

My 3.5 year old son talks with his hands, tilts his head to the side and kind of does this Elvis like curl with his lips when he is explaining something in his "grown-up" style voice. It is so cute! He has never met a stranger and will pull anyone into pleasant conversation.
My 2 year old daughter has recently created a fake laugh and cry. She also does this hop, skip, gallop thing when she is playing. Today at the dentist's office she was sitting in the chair and said, "You're my best friend, Mom!" Both of my kids love to sing and just learned the pledge of allegiance. It is too much!

when my son Nicky uses his "comedic timing" and quotes "what's that middle part?" he has double dimples and is just too cute for words...

Greg - well, Greg is my sunshine...so when he's not driving me nuts and turning my hair gray? he just needs to look at me with his beautiful blue eyes and I'm awash...

What a nice post ST!...
I love when my kids laugh and when they fall asleep, they look so sweet and beautiful. I love every minute with them....I also enjoy when I wake up in the morning and I have this sleepy face..and my little one says: "Mom...you are beautiful!" and he hugs me with so much love.....I love that moment every morning!
