My son does something that just melts my heart every time. He holds his hands about one inch apart and asks me, "Do I love you this much momma?" and I tell him "No." Then he opens them up about a foot, "Do I love you THIS much momma?" and I tell him "No".... this goes on until his arms are stretched as wide as they possibly can go and he asks, "Do I love you THIIIIIIIS much wrapped around the world a million times momma?"
"YES! YES! That’s how much!"
He could do that all day long and I never get sick of it. What did your kids come up with to show you how much they love you in their way or words? I'd love to hear it!

With my teens, it is calling me into their room for my opinion. I love that. I giggle to myself.... i dont know that latest hair/makeup/clothes, but they still ask and it makes me feel special!
With my little ones, it is snuggling, reading together, quick kisses/hugs before they go off to play. It all goes by too fast!
One of my sister's friends was talking about how she has the best mom and my 5 year old piped in and said, "You may have the best mom for you, but I have the best mom for me!"
My almost 4 year old tells me ten times a day "mama, you're my BEST friend". It just melts my heart. I hope she still feels that way in 10 years lol.
Nothing says I love you like cleaning your room without me nagging you to the point of insanity. :)
I am an action not words kind of girl.
My son comes up to me and takes my face in his hands and says "I love you SO much, you are gorgeous!". Makes me forget all the bad instantly.
Sometimes, I get upset about something, and it shows on my face. I just sit on the floor beneath the couch, and sulk for a few minutes. My 18 mos old daughter sees my face, comes running to me, gives me a peck on my cheeks, puts her hand on my face, and says 'aye lai lai' (its her version of I love you). She'll keep standing next to me, looking at me, holding my face, until I smile back, pick her up and we both start giggling.
That priceless moment, all sadness and tiredness just vanish! I hope I continue to deserve my child's love always...
He comes into the room and sings "Any way you want it that's the way you need it" over and over - he is working on the verses but his devotion to good music is the PERFECT way to show his love to me since we are a music driven family!
My son nearly abuses the phrase, "I love you mommy" - I swear he says it hourly.
Aw cute. My dd who is nearly nine still wants snuggles and hugs and always tells me she loves me but when she was younger she would tell her friends that she had the best mom ever!! Of course her friends would disagree and say that they had the best moms ever. My dd would be genuinely confused and couldn't work out how all these kids had the best moms ever cause she was adamant that she did!! :-) When she was 6 they had to write a story about why they loved there moms and she wrote - I love my mom so much that when I get married and have babies, we will all live with my mom in her house!!! WTH!!!! Funny or what, I hope she's not serious though. :-)
My 7 yr old tells me I love you all the way to God and back 100 million gazillion times and more then words could ever say.
My 3 yr old says mommy I love you 2 and I say I love you 3, 4,5,6,7 times 100
my kiddos walk home from school and on the way home they pick flowers every day , and when they get to the house I usually wait for them out front. when they get to our corner they run with their arms open and hug me when they get to me.
My 1 year old squeals with excitement and kicks his legs as hard as he can when I come into his bedroom after a nap or in the morning. Then when I pick him up he squishes his soft baby face into my neck and presses hard on my face with his. I LOVE IT.
My 4 year old tells me I'm the best mommy she could ever have, nobody could be a better mommy than me. She says she loves me as much as the sun, the moon, the stars and even more than ice cream. My 5 year old just says I love you mama and snuggles into me. But there are other ways like when we cuddle and read a book or watch a movie together, and they put their hands on my arm and snuggle into me. LOVE!!

My son picks dandelions for me every day. Adorable.
He will even get off his bike to do it.
Sometimes he yells, "Mommy! Mommy!" When I ask "what"? He just says "I love you.". Melts my heart.
Wonderful things my 8 year old does aside from actually saying I love you is her telling me that I'm the best mom and she's happy that she has me as her mommy and she'll never have another one. She's too tall for me to pick up or heavy for me to have her sit on my lap so instead she'll come up to me squeeze me tight or wrap her arms around my shoulders to cuddle.
My nonverbal 5 year old comes up to me and asks to be hugged, or wraps his arms around mine so that I'm holding him. I love all the kisses and hugs that I get from each of my children and know that one day I won't be getting them quite as much. I only hope that day comes when I'm too senile to know the difference.
